Titan or AMS700

I met with 2 different high volume surgeons as part of my due diligence before getting the implant. One recommended the Titan and the other the AMS700. My preference is rigidity to help straighten the curve with minimal ad hoc procedures besides the implant placement. Am I splitting hairs or are they about the same in curvature correction?

My first implant was a Titan, I also had pyronies and the surgeon told me that the Titan has thick cylinder material and will help straighten it up by breaking up a lot of the fibrosis..  The Titan lasted 5yrs and had to get another implant which occurred 8 months ago.  I went to the same surgeon and he now recommended the AMS LGX but I would be on a waiting list, forget that, so I started researching and found another surgeon through the centers of excellence on the mfg site, went to him and he told me the same thing AMS, I went through with my second surgeon and he did an excellent job.  I have just as rigid erection as the Titan and my penis looks,hangs, feels more natural than the Titan.  Do not get me wrong the Titan works and a lot of guys have them... They also have AMS,  my erection is not exactly straight nor was it with the Titan but after 5yrs it had straightened quite a bit.

I want to also add that doctors also tend to recommend the Titan to younger patients more. It does provide more rigidity than the AMS by the way it's manufactured alone, but a lot of folks swear by both. It's also Dr dependant and if they have kickbacks from a particular brand or not.

I find your article very interesting. I have a titan and almost every time I look at it pumped, I think that is a fat cock.
When I first got Peyronie's disease, my cock developed a hinge and an indentation and a full 45 degree hinge, plus I had venous leak. I had a modified Nesbit to fix the hinge and straighten it out, but I took nearly 2" off my length and shrunk by girth by 1". I was devastated.
Fast forward to me finding this website and I found an excellent surgeon, Dr Lentz at Duke in NC.
He asked me what was most important length or girth, and I picked girth and he suggested the Titan.
I really like the girth.
My question is does the AMS have the same girth as the Titan?
And what about the pump, do you find it easier or harder to deflate than the titan?

Hello Stepone, I cannot tell the difference in girth only that it now looks and feels more uniform the whole length.  And the pump feels about the same to me, the MS maybe slightly larger but it works well.  Do not know about the new Tenacio pump.
