What can I use for pain after surgery besides opiates that works

I'm in recovery and on suboxone so opiates won't be an option after my plication surgery in March. Is there anything natural that people have used that has helped?

It sounds like you need to discuss this with your Dr. I know that heat therapy does relieve pain, but would that interfere with your sutures and healing? I would also suggest the regular Advil and Tylenol but not aspirin. In the supplements arena there is curcumin that is supposed to help with pain. Omegas 3 fish oil does help with healing. Hopefully others will chime in.
