Vas deferens keep getting sucked into cylinder - ouch!

I started treating my peyronies using a VED last month, which worked as advertised up until about a week ago when it started sucking my vas deferens (aka the tubes connected to my balls), into the cylinder. Obviously it hurts like hell and makes pumping untenable. The problem may simply be that the cylinder is waaay too wide but my options were limited.

My penis when fully erect is just over 8 inches long and finding an adequate device in my price range was a challenge since all the best reviewed least expensive pumps top out at 8 inches. I ended up buying a "commander XL" which has a cylinder that's 10" in length and a whopping 8.75" in circumference, which is much more girth than I require. Initially, I used the largest sleeve and was able to get a good seal and pump successfully. Once it began sucking up and pinching my vas deferens I switched to the medium size, but it did the same thing and hurts even more. I've tried different angles and pulling on my scrotum but it seems like eventually it always happens, which is extremely weird given it never happened before!

I'm hoping I can find a way to make the current pump work for me since I don't want to spend any more $ but it may just be too damned wide. Why on earth would they make a pump so ludicrously big?

You need to have a smaller pump size circumferentialy. If you can't get a smaller size where you are at then you need a penis cylinder cushion. It basically is a molded piece of silicone that fits over the end of your tube. It keeps your scrotum and testicles from being sucked into the chamber. Here is an example of what I am talking about --> Penis Cylinder Base
Lump 4/2020, age 63 , Dr Levine 6-26-20, Dors Curve 11/2020, Peyronies
Vit E400mg, COQ10, Heat Therapy, Penimaster, Pentox, Cialis, Restorex
SNHL 7/2020 - Stopped all Meds because ototoxicity  Heat/traction/VED are working. CPPS Diagnosis - Stable :)

Thanks for the advice. I've since found a combination of techniques that seem to be preventing the undesired suction. I may eventually spring for the cushion or even a better tailored vacuum tube but as long as this pump works well enough and there aren't any other inherent risks associated with a wide tube I'll probably stick to my current device.
