Hey guys,

When new to traction, did any of you experience slight soreness in areas of the penis throughout the day off and on. I'd like to be consistent with doing traction every day, but I also want to make sure that this is a normal side effect that can happen. Did any of you experience this? I have been using Penimaster Pro as that is way easier for me to manage than RestoreX. I get slight soreness on the underside of my penis, specifically towards the glans where the chamber gets fixated. Sometimes there is soreness around the plaque area as well. I'd assume that this is just the penis getting used to the stretch. Thanks ahead for your input.

I've been using RestoreX.

I found it particularly difficult to counterbend at first. Now I can do it at ease.

Yes, slight soreness seems to be common. Over time it gets more comfortable.

From what I've read on here it seems to be normal.

You need to ease into any form of traction as your body is not use to it. It will get better with time. Maybe skipping every other day at first/time reduction etc...

That makes sense to me. I'm not even hitting the first mark on Penimaster and rather just focused on getting a slight stretch. I went for 45 minutes twice a day with a 15 minute break in between for 3 days before feeling persistent mild discomfort. I can definitely tell my penis has been stretched. It almost feels like a mild burning sensation throughout the day. Maybe I should reduce this time for now?

Dr. Levine mentioned going with as much as I can withstand. He even said to consider sleeping with it on, but I do not feel comfortable with that as I move around a lot in my sleep. I think I'm just going to listen to my body for now and wait for this discomfort to go away before continuing again. I'm trying to lean in and trust the process of traction but want to be careful. Knowing that this could be worsening by the day really gets in your head.

I'm also thinking about switching back to RestoreX once my penis gets used to stretching with the PMP.

I always heat my penis with a rice sock before and after traction. Also sometimes I sit on the rice sock so it loosens my perenieum muscles.

Then for supplements I take coq10 propolis and baby aspirin to make sure no future plaquing takes place.
Diagnosed after two uro visits march 2023. physical exam no ultrasound
Noticed upward bend october 22.
currently on 5mg cialis and using hot rice sock. trying to find right traction device
Pain started 12 2022.

Yes a slight burning sensation is normal and taking breaks like you are doing is great. Also using some form of heat therapy before traction is a must. It relaxes things and promotes blood flow. Dr Levine also said I could wear the PMP at nighttime but I have never tried it. You will eventually get the hang of it in time and consistency.

Okay, that's good to know. The burning sensation is mostly on the underside of the penis, near where the chamber gets fixated. I've also experienced some fluctuating slight swelling or fluid retention around the hourglass area, but I've read that this can be a normal side effect early in traction therapy. Regardless, I'm focused on ensuring any discomfort resolves completely before continuing, and I might resume with even less intensity and shorter duration to help my penis gradually adjust.

Soreness! Yes! For me the skin at the base especially would get sore. The skin on the shaft would get irritated as well.

When that happens, take a day or two off and rub lotion like hydrocortisone and relax a day or two. When you go back to the device you'll feel better.

Also liberally use tissue around the pelvic ring, anywhere you have discomfort.

The device is about being comfortably snug and not in pain.

Check out the comfort grip which attaches onto the Restorex
I've found the results amazing, restored length and bend virtually gone

I'm on week 10 of consistent RestoreX use.

I get pain in my glans throughout the day.

This is from where I'm having to squeeze the glans hard into the clamp.

I just hope it's not causing further damage.

Where can I purchase the comfort grip?

Are you taking it off every 2 hours, and giving yourself a 15-20 minute break from traction??
You should not be wearing the device consistently without taking a break every 2 hours.
