Does your penis feel flat on top?

As time has gone on, my flaccid penis seems to have changed its texture. When flaccid, the area where the plaque is feels much more firm, and even feels flat on top. Before it was rounded and curved and soft but now it's not.

Is that normal?

Yes that is a normal feeling. The internal area under your outer skin layer has changed because of excessive scar tissue formation. Peyronies can take countless shapes and forms but it is characterized by a deformity that can be seen or felt in or outwardly on your penis.

Thank you for your reply.

I'm often worried that this conidition could be more insidious than peyronies.

I've never had a scan, but I think a lot of urologists in Europe don't scan for it as it just seems so obvious in some cases.

I'm considering trying a pump. I had a bit of a dent and I'm hoping it might somehow help to fill it while erect.

With peyronies it is better to have a plan of action than doing nothing. If it progresses then you could have more deformities and possible length/size reduction. The thing of course is to get a proper diagnosis - if that is all possible for you.

I have been officially diagnosed with peyronies but I've never had a CT scan to confirm it. My father also has it, and he had had the surgery to correct the curve.

When I developed the disease I started taking tadalafil, along with other supplements, anti inflammatory medications and ice. I've not stopped as I'm in the chronic stage of the disease.

I often wonder if I should try using a pump but I'm worried it could cause more damage? Can a pump increase some girth I've lost and possibly help with the stiff feeling I have when getting an erection?

I also suffer from chronic pelvic pain syndrome/high bladder neck so I take an alpha blocker.

I often believe that tamsulosin contributed towards my development of the disease.

Thanks

A VED can help you with erections and with increasing girth. You just go slow and follow the forums protocol. I also have to deal with chronic pelvic pain. I have to do stretches and strengthening exercises. I also tried afluzosin and it worked wonders for erections, but it gave me heart palpitations. Which alpha blocker do you take? Tamsulosin is usually not a contributing factor in peyronies.
