Does anyone know or has experience with a link to steroids and peyronies disease?

I have known men who have fantastic builds and when looking at their penis when playing with women I've noticed they've had severe hourglass deformity.

People always say steroids "stop your dick working" but are never clear in what way.

It's always assumed that it causes erectile dysfunction.

I think there is more to it. Long term erectile dysfunction causes peyronies disease in my opinion.

If you don't have enough blood flow to the penis plaques develop after sex.

This is why we take Tadalafil, pump, stretch and bend our dicks to make sure they stay healthy.

Can people share their opinions and experiences?

Bodybuilders using steroids are injecting a very large amount of the drug into their system. This can cause excessive estrogen build and other bad side effects. One thing it will do is to ramp up your sex drive to outrageous proportions. I wonder if the sex is more frequent and rough with bodybuilders thus causing peyronies symptoms. Just a thought.

I'm a bodybuilder (natural) but I have friends who take steroïds and I know this subject.

When you do a cure of testosterone, your libido increases drastically & bloodflow is improved. But their natural testosterone secretion stops, that's why their balls reduce in size.

When they stop (and they have to for their health), their is a float time during which they don't have testosterone in their blood anymore. During this period they often experience erectile dysfunction. But it's generally back in weeks or a month if they know what they are doing. I don't think this temporary lack of bloodflow is enough to have bad scaring and eventually get peyronie.

But what Mikel said can be true, they often have wild and wanton sex life during their cycle and we know that it is not good for peyronie if you are predispoed to it. But on the other hand, your bloodflow is so much improved so you are supposed to recover better. Maybe they could experience Priapism ? And it could cause some damage to their dick
