Hey guys, I just got out of an appointment with my local specialist for my new indentation that is creating an hourglass effect. I am 1 month into the acute phase, and my urologist instructed me to use VED daily ASAP for this type of deformity as apparently it helps a lot for indentations. The pamphlet he gave me was for the soma correct, but the office sold me the Osbon ErecAid Esteem Manual (I guess that is what they had in stock). My urologist said to use it for 10 minutes daily. And then to increase to using 20 minutes daily after a while of getting comfortable with it. I feel much better about following the posted protocols on here however after reading user experiences and horror stories of overuse and longer time frames. VED terrifies me as is after reading about injuries, so I'd rather play it safe with conservative pumping and following the protocols on here. I have a few questions:

-Should I have opted for the soma correct instead of the Osbon? I understand that they are both medical grade devices, and I would like to get the best device for Peyronie's of course. I noticed this is only one cylinder, but the soma has multiple cylinders. Have any of you experienced improvement with the Osbon? I'm wondering if I should return this and get the Soma.

-Has anyone found or posted a video demonstration of VED use for Peyronies to show the proper way of using one? I have read the instructions and protocols thoroughly, but would also love to see it in action to give me some peace of mind beforehand.

-Do any of you find it helpful to do traction right after or even before VED therapy for improved benefits?

Thanks guys!

Hey guys, just started my first VED session. I followed the protocols and actually stopped after step 2 just for starting out to be EXTRA cautious. I felt like it was better to start out only getting a slight stretch from the VED instead of trying to get near erection state. This felt like it was at least doing something for my penis without any discomfort. I'm going to take it VERY slow by the day to get used to this. My question is:

Is it normal to have a little bit of redness where the base of the cylinder sits against the pubic bone area? I felt like during my second pump there was inevitably some extra pull on the skin in that area. Is that something I need to address and fix or is that a normal occurrence? It seems like there is no way around this and I have the right sizing insert for my penis without being too constricted when pumping it.

Thanks

Redness from any device pushing against your pubic bone area is normal. I get this from using any traction device as well as a VED device. Things do go back to normal. I believe you are experiencing a lot of anxiety and worrying regarding peyronies still which is normal. Using the forum's VED protocols is very safe for about 99 1/2% of the men here. Keep on with using it and you should also consider using a traction device as these two treatments do help out a lot.
