Due to shrinkage effect with colder temperatures; for the purpose of optimal sizing, is
it advantageous to be implanted in the summer ?

Thanks

Hawk would probably be the one to give you an answer on this one...
Lump 4/2020, age 63 , Dr Levine 6-26-20, Dors Curve 11/2020, Peyronies
Vit E400mg, COQ10, Heat Therapy, Penimaster, Pentox, Cialis, Restorex
SNHL 7/2020 - Stopped all Meds because ototoxicity  Heat/traction/VED are working. CPPS Diagnosis - Stable :)

The temperature outside has nothing to with your size. It is the temperature that your penis is at that moment. But a surgeon knows how to properly size you for an implant regardless of temperature.

I saw a report once about the month of surgery and how it corresponded with risk of infection. Correlation doesn't always equal causation however, but the report stated that there were fewer infections in the colder months, and I believe November was the month that had the least.

I was implanted in march in Atlanta so that isn't exactly "late winter" weather, but I recovered at home in New England. By the time April came around it had gotten warmer so I could walk outside and I was alright.

But wherever you get implanted the room will be warm enough to ensure the largest possible device. And obviously the better the surgeon the better the outcome, as always.
