Hi all, new here. After over three months of being frustrated that I can't find a single anecdote of a stable phase or mild case I realized I was part of the problem by not posting. I'm hoping most men with less severe/ mild cases don't post because so much posted content is useless to them (mostly being severe, sex-life impacting cases) any way. Here is my progression timeline.

First heard of Peyronies Disease from a Dr who diagnosed my Dupuytren's contracture and mentioned it's association with Peyronies Disease. Very grateful for the info as it helped be ID symptoms and take action quickly. Sx 1 yr after Dupuytren's

Onset: slightly more difficult to achieve erection (not noticeable to gf) and pain, mild 3/10 but constant for 2 weeks

Week 4 subtle hourglass shape when semi-erect. Gone when fully erect. Suspected a loss of length and girth but also subtle. Started measuring started doing gentle traction by hand daily.

Week 6 semierect hourglass more distinct. Occasional painful erections at night and occasionally bouts of flaccid pain. Also some hard flaccid symptoms. Saw urologist. Could not palpate plaque but suspected peyronies. Vitamin E and wait (disappointing)

Week 8 hourglass more prominent in semi erect state. Still gone when erect. Erections feel slightly softer. Gf can't notice. Also confirmed a loss of 1in when erect since I started measuring (wasn't keeping track of girth)

Week 12: pain mostly gone. Erections only with physical stimulation. Before I could just think my self into a boner. Still doesn't impact sex life.

Week 15. No change. Currently still have a fantastic sex life with partner. Hourglass as I become erect is certainly disturbing but I can live with that.

Does this track with any of y'all's experience? I know it's different for everyone but to have at least one timeline to compare against my own would be a tremendous relief. I would especially love to hear from fellow hourglass sufferers.

good luck to you all.
Symptoms started May 27 2024. Hourglass (only semi erect) narrowing, one inch lost. Diagnosed June 20th Dr. Zbraki

Update: Week 19 - still no change. hourglass still disappears when erect. pain almost completely gone. I have a shred of hope that I have reached the stable phase and arrived with symptoms that will have negligible impact on my sex life. I also have doubts due to the fact that I have never heard of anyone having Peyronies Disease thats has not eventually made sex difficult or led to a degree of deformity that induced severe and chronic depression. heres hoping Im the first.

Also started taking CoQ10 and Ace-L-Carn daily.

Peyronies affects each man differently and yes there are similarities in the starting phase and healing phase but in the end it is all about a deformity and the healing process. How you tackle it is also similar with a  lot of men here. The key to success is by consistency and longevity in your treatment plan.

Okay last update for anyone who might be curious about progression.

week 20: lost more length/ girth but stopped measuring (too depressing)

still taking COQ10 and Ace-L and Vit E (seemingly useless)

3in flaccid 5in erect (apprx. 1 1/2 inch loss)

possible beginning of upward curve (unsure, no tool to measure)

saw Doc again (no RX, no Tx suggestion, wait and see)

appt with new urologist in Dec

Psychological state: worse than I could have ever imagined, constant suicidal ideation, anxiety spikes during any form of intimacy with partner, libido gradually disappearing (speaking with partner, online support groups, therapy and medication have not helped)

I'm going to take a break from the forum because I am obsessively reading hundreds of posts and articles that do not contain any of the information I want to know.

Peyronies Disease is different for everyone, but, if you are 31yr old male with a history of Dupytrens Disease, and experience onset of Peyronies Disease via penile pain, Hard flaccid, and semi erect hourglassing, then the Disease might take 20 weeks to "get bad" my suggestion is use it now because you may only have a few months left with your penis.

I'm going to remain as hopeful as possible, break from this forum and seek better treatment, i'm going to try everything. if something works or is even negligibly beneficial, I will post it here in a month or so. If not, probably suicide.

If you read this, I am also 31, this condition is not something deadly like late stage cancer, please try refrain from the suicidal thoughts. If you need a break from the forum that is completely fine but just know that your situation will be improved with traction or VED depending on which one suits you better, and if not then an implant is the final solution. Do not become suicidal about something that can be fixed.

The psychological toll on one is heavy with this condition, but when one faces challenges in life, one must fight them, head on, you are stronger than you think. Embrace the hardship from this condition, let it make you grow as a person, you will come out the other side a stronger man.

Good luck.
