Hello everyone, I'll start by introducing myself.
My name is Kyle and I am a 29 year old Male

As of about Sunday, I began to notice what looks like a dent on the left side of my shaft. It only is visible when flaccid, as when I am erect it isn't there and my penis looks normal once erect. I haven't had any issues with erections or pain. Zero pain actually. I'm not sure hat to feel for when I touch around down there in pertains to plaque or abnormalities. Anything I do feel it's seemingly reflected on both sides of my flaccid penis. I have some backstory however, regarding a potential injury that occurred exactly 3 months ago. Also notable, I've had a natural curve for my whole life. It tends to lean to the left but has never given cause for concern and doesn't interfere with my sexual life

One day I was having intercourse with my girlfriend when I had pulled out to far and noticed kind of a popping noise when I went to thrust. We both wondered where the sound came from, if it was her or I. I didn't experience any pain when that occurred and not a noticeable loss of erection. I was able to get erections just fine as soon as the same day and the following days. It didn't really alarm me other than some very minor looking bruising by my urethra opening for about a day.

I am coming here for some clarification as to what I should do, because I have been really worrying about it. It's been affecting my overall wellbeing from being so obsessive over it. I've seen numerous people talking about taking Cialis daily to potentially reduce the progression. I've attempted to make doctor appointments however they are two weeks out. My doctor asked me to send pictures of erect penis as of yesterday so I will do that. I'm mainly curious if anyone has any advice or similar experiences. I feel like if this is something, I'm fairly early into it and would love to try to treat it as soon as possible

Thank you

Welcome Everlastingeverything to the forum and thank you for filling out your signature line. Please download our survival guide -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.0.html.

So your erections are fine and you have no pain. Just an indentation on your shaft when you are flaccid. You are worried that you may have the start of peyronies? First things first is to get checked out by a peyronies Dr which can be difficult to find one. A lot of Dr's will say that they can treat peyronies but don't even have a clue.  Get an erect ultrasound if possible to see what is going on. Study the survival guide and eductate yourself first.

Worrying about your penis can cause you way more problems than you realize. Pain is also something to watch out for. Men usually do take Cialis or like drugs for helping with peyronies in healing and erections. Another form of peyronies treatments is traction and VED. Traction helps stretch things out and also prevent loosing size/girth. The two most used traction devices are the Restorex and the PenimasterPro. I would also say that you need to get some preliminary measurements of your penis size erect and flaccid just for a baseline in case things change.

One thing is good that you are catching this early on and very well maybe nothing.
Just keep a mindset that this is a marathon and not a sprint in regards to peyronies treatments. Also keep the worrying and obsessing in control over your penis as this does cause a lot of unwanted problems.   :)

I really appreciate the response and all the info. I was unable to load the survival guide and was wondering if I can access it else where? I've used the search option and found nothing. And I know you can't really answer all the questions but does this sound like the early stages of Peyronies Disease? And what are your recommendations on self treating with Cialis, COQ10, and Carnitine? I know you aren't really allowed to give medical opinions but I was just curious with anecdotal experience. Also, is Pentox still being used for treatment?

I added the corrected link for the survival guide above. To me it is difficult to actually say if this is beginning peyronies or not. An actual dent would be a ruling for the beginning stages for peyronies. You say though that you have no pain and your erections are fine but you also stated that you did have some bruising at your urethra. Peyronies is a mysterious disease as to how it affects each man differently.

I would still follow through with your appointment but I would study the survival guide first and make an actual list of questions to ask your Dr. If you don't get the answers you like from him/her then seek out another one. Pentox is being discontinued by a lot of Dr's for treatment. I would recommend starting Cialis as it will help with reducing internal inflammation and promote healing to your penis. CoQ10 and Carnitnine are also used sometimes as an inflammation reducer. Taking them will not harm you and may be an added benefit. The whole idea in treatment is to reduce the ongoing inflammation and create an ideal healing environment. Traction and VED are also employed to stop/reduce length losses and actually restore losses.  :)
