Is it adviseable to correct congenital curvature with grafting?

Hello everyone, Im 21, with a congenital, almost 90 degrees downwards curve. I've been researching for methods for a long time now, and grafting seems to promise no length loss, however I couldn't find any positive experience with it on here, because it seems like only few people decided to go with grafting and those wo did, seemingly experienced severe loss of length. How is it possible to lose length with this method, when there is no tissue removed, but graft added? Are there maybe big differences in result, depending on if its congenital or peyronies?
I found this Study, which shows good results with this method for congenital curvature, but the few experiences I have found here, made me unsure, as I'd rather not go through surgery, then lose 2 inches.
Does anyone here have good experience with grafting methods or any explanation for my questions?

Thanks

There are a couple of different procedures. Check INcision and grafting and EXcision and grafting.

HOWEVER, I don't believe either of these procedures can be used for congenital curves.

I think for congenital its neither INcision, nor EXcision, because both relate to the plaque, which I dont have, so it should just be grafting I think? Correct me if im wrong. The study I found also explicitly states grafting procedure for congenital curvature, and reports great success but im not sure, if the few bad reviews here on grafting-methods, are leading back to specific peyronies problems and if there is no feedback on congenital-grafting simply because peyronies is more common.

I was just listing 2 types of grafting procedures. I've never heard of any grafting procedure for congenital curvature correction. I think you will require a plication procedure. And there are a couple of different types of these.
