Anyone? Or does everyone with Peyronies Disease have at least some form of ED as a result?

Torn -

I have had Peyronies Disease now for at least 10 years (im now 26) and have had no resulting ED. I have hour glassing but its only noticeable maybe 50 percent of the time. My erections are always full but deformities pose a problem with upwards curvature. I believe my young age is the primary reason I don't have ED as a symptom. Peyronies Disease is not necessarily a guarantee of ED, but is almost always the culprit of a bend or abnormality. I guess I am lucky that I don't have ED, but I suspect that as I age, I will see more ED as any man would.

Got Peyronie's at 29 (now 32) and I never had ED. At first I had very painful erections due to the inflammation which did make sex unpleasant, sometimes to the point of losing an erection but I have never had any sustained ED.

Worried Guy

I had ED for 6 weeks when I first found out I had peyronies but it was all in my head because of stress and anxiety.  I have no problems now.

I have some ed, and it sucks. What really suck too is that my penis has shrunk about half an inch in length. I've lost a noticeable amount of girth as well. It looks and feels pretty pathetic in its flaccid state dents and all. Do you guys suffer from any shrinkage too?

Mine looks especially horrible after ejaculation. Like there's no blood in it and the dents and hourglassing are more prominent.

Mine also looks horrible after ejaculation but I still not sure that I have, 2 uros one of them is androlog didn't verify. I thought that it is early phase some indentations but no scar tissue.

I am going to get mad if I can't validate whether or not Peyronie. Symptoms are similar but no scar tissue. slight curve but pain and burn sensation for a long time

I also had Peyronies but no ED. There are too many uro's who believe that Peyronies causes ED. When in fact there is a relation of where ED makes one more prone to injury which can trigger Peyronies.

I am 37. I have had Peyronies 2 1/2 years. I had early ED after diagnosis which turned out to be anxiety and the low self esteem this disease can bring...once I got my mind over it I have had very little ED symptoms/complications.

Tristen

Mild and intermittent erectile dysfunction.

Early on I had 45 degree curvature to the right.  It has since straightened out, which is very nice, but now telescopes down in girth about 2 inches up from the base.  So I traded the curvature for a significant decrease in girth by ~25%. and in length by about an inch.  If I had to choose, I would keep what I have now rather than that much curvature.  But I also think I can get some of the girth and length back with a VED.  I'm yet to try it.

I'm 28, have had peyronie's for 8 months.  I definitely do not have "erectile dysfunction" in the classical sense.  I have no problem getting and maintaining an erection around my girlfriend.  However, I definitely think I notice the scar tissue obstructing blood flow and giving me softer erections and I get less erections than I used to, and they don't last as long without continual arousal.  Some of this may be psychological, some may be physical.  Basically, at my best, I still get amazing erections, but I feel like I'm only at my best 20% of the time now instead of 95% of the time like I used to be.

So basically, I do not have erectile dysfunction, but I think definitely don't work as well as they did before peyronie's.

ED is not a hard defined thing. There are different levels of ED and what you are describing is exactly that:
Quotesofter erections and I get less erections than I used to, and they don't last as long without continual arousal....I'm only at my best 20% of the time now instead of 95% of the time like I used to be.

This is a difficult one to quantify as there are so many other factors that can cause E.D. I'm 64, as such I have had to keep testosterone levels up, which I have done through gym work and the use of supplements such as DAA. I, therefore, usually have no problems getting and maintaining an erection. If I do, Cialis, or similar, takes care of the problem just fine.

Anxiety, caused by your condition, I.e. Fear of failure to perform can in itself cause E.D. So, I think it's important to assess what exactly is causing E.D., If you are suffering from it. It may not be the scar tissue alone that is causing the problem.
