PMP Observation - New Latex Sluices less effective

Hi All,

I bought the PMP about a year ago because I was intrigued with the concept of prolonged stretching. I have about a 35 degree curve, had some pretty bad ED that I struggled with way before Peyronies. Don't think I ever had phases of Peyronnies, so I think it's just an injury from Finasteride and not "true peyronies".

Anyway, A year ago the PMP did wonders for my EQ. I used to not be able to get natural erections and after using the PMP for 6+ hours a day for 2 months straight, I now have natural erections. It's like Peyronies gave me a win.

But the latex sluices were of a somewhat weak material. People often complain about them and if they get a tiny hole in them, they are useless. I had to order new ones a couple months ago and its a totally different Latex. Way more durable but less suction/force and I think it takes away from the efficacy of the device. It used to be like a thin condom looking latex and now its a thick gray.

Anyone else observe this?

35 degree curve after quitting Finasteride
Significant ED since college, but no deformity. Starting to believe I've had scar tissue since then.
PMP - 6 hours a day. Curve unchanged but works wonders for ED I have had half my life.

I have not used PMP but I have read about this on various forums. You are not the only one who complains about the new sluices. Ever since they updated to this ''universal'' sluice model a lot of people are complaining on different online forums. Hopefully they listen to the critique.
30 years. Sudden rightwards curve detected in June 2020
Narrowing on right side and about a 20° curve to the right.
ED + instability due to narrowing.

Wow, great to hear from you Sonic and thanks for chiming in.

It seems that by creating this new sluice, they are overcompensating for a common complaint they get about how the sluice rips. Once that happens you need to replace it. These new gray solid opaque sluices are way more durable but don't have suction and really take away from the efficacy.

I bought the device about a year ago. And the new replacement sluices about 9 months ago. The original sluices were far superior but they wouldn't last two months. They would get micro abrasions and one tiny hole means they are ruined.

If you are still wondering about this problem with the replaceable sluices let me refer you to my "MOD" for the PMP -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,14580.msg136367.html#msg136367 . This is the cheap alternative that works like a charm! I went to party city and purchased different size latex balloons. I have not had to purchase the PMP replacement sluices/diaphragms for a long time. Just experiment with
different latex balloons. It will only cost you a couple of bucks .  :)

Thank you for chiming in, Mikel!

Makes sense, any small latex balloon would be a good replacement.

My issue is not the durability or price of the currently offered latex for the device, it's the efficacy. I got this product 1 year ago and the latex is completely different. Yes it's way more thin, but it was way more effective at suction, thus creating more force.
It's the latex at the top of your thread. I personally think it's the most effective but it rips, which is why they probably made it more durable and why there are conversations on replacements. Maybe I'm being picky but I don't think a more durable latex is as effective and if I can't get the original Latex from PMP, not sure where to go from there and might have to explore Restorex moving forward.
