VED advice for bend (plaque) near base

Hi guys,
I have been able to straighten a bend close to my glans, using my VED which is a SOMAcorrect.

However, i now have a second bend near the base of the shaft.

I guess the VED pump must have corrected the first bend, but it is a struggle to straighten the second one.

I saw Prof Ralph last year, and he warned me that straightening the bend near the base with the VED would be more difficult.

For this tricky location of the new bend, do you recommend using a tighter fitting cylinder (B), or a cylinder with more space between the cylinder and the shaft (C)?

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Bumping this thread because I'm having a similar conundrum and I haven't seen anyone address it yet.

From your experience, is it safe/comfortable using a VED with the seal being so close to the plaque? This is my biggest reservation about using one.
Upward congenital curvature. Penile fracture 2-3 years ago. Indentation/plaque on the underside of my penis at the base and worsened upward curve. Decent EQ, flaccid pain

Started Penimaster Pro + RestoreX

You might consider traction for the bed at the base due to the location, if that is doable for you with your daily schedule

Hi guys, i have since seen Prof Ralph again (Summer 2024).

My downward and right bend, caused by plaque near the base, has improved.
The bend was about 30 degrees, and is now 20 degrees.

There is still a collaring (narrowing) in the shaft close to the base, which makes the circumference 5 mm thinner than the middle of the shaft.

I have been using both the VED and the RestoreX since MAY 2024. Before this time I only used the VED.

I asked him if the RestoreX could thicken the collaring near the base. He thought that the RestoreX couldn't do this, and could only correct the bend. He thought the VED would be the best tool to correct the narrowing/collaring.

However, as nothing has really made an impact on the collaring, i am considering designing a device that only creates a suction on a particular (small) area of the shaft. This way, a stronger vacuum could be created to address the collaring, without the risk of damaging the glans.

Ethan - You got 10° off your curvature after 6 months use of the RestoreX and VED?

How many RestoreX sessions a day were you doing and for how long?

Since onset of Plaque #2 (near base) from Mid-NOV-2022 -to- consultation JUL-2024
VED > 40 sessions since Mid-NOV-2022.
RestoreX > 17 sessions since MAY-2024 which is when I bought the device.

The reason I had done so few VED sessions over such a long period, is because I felt I might have overpumped it a few times, and therefore had a bit of a scare, so... there were big gaps of no VED exercises MAR-2023, APR to JUL-2023, OCT-23 to MAR-2024.

My medical advice has come from Prof Ralph, NHS London.

PS: My RestoreX sessions are 30 mins bend Upwards... rest 30 mins... 30 mins bend Right... that's it, I don't do any more RestoreX in the same day, although I sometimes also use VED the same day.

Thanks for that.

I do the following:

10 min - straight stretching
10 min - counterbend downwards
10 min - couterbend upwards

30 mins 1x a day Mon-Fri
30 mins 2x a day Sat & Sun

I'm hoping this will correct a 20-30° curve that goes up to the left.

I started with VED but then stopped. I was doing 5x 2 min sessions - 10 minutes in total.

Do you think your vitamins / supplements make much of a difference?

I asked Prof Ralph if there are any foods that are Good or Bad for peyronies.
He just said "No", but added that there would be "no harm" in talking Vitamin E, Carnitine and Co Enzyme Q10, but with no real evidence of any benefit.

It would have felt better to find some solid evidence of a food / supplement that could prevent future plaque development.

Back in Summer '22 I had a blood test with a private doctor, and he though that it was probably a blood stagnation that caused the plaque build up in the first place. The private doc did say that it might be beneficial to take:

L Arganine
Cartinine
Ginsing (by Detox Trading)
Pine Pollen (to boost testosterone)
Vit B12
Iron (possibly)
Follic Acid

Later in the summer of '22, i spoke with one of Prof Ralph's assistants and asked him about Arginine and supplements. He said that Arganine, along with Vitamin E and Pentox wouldn't help now, because I'm past the 'active phase'.

I don't think taking supplements makes a difference to be honest.

I was regularly on ketogenic diet Mon-Fri and fasted 20/4 with cheat days on weekends.

Doing all of this before I even developed peyronies as I was training in combat sports so needed to make weight at the time.

I'd often do 48 hour fasts and on a few ocassions went 72 hours.

I did this all BEFORE I ever even had peyronies and STILL got it.

I developed peyronies because of a few factors.

I was having vigorous sex at orgies taking large doses of Sildenafil & Tadalafil forcing myself to perform and have lots of sex in a single night.

This and taking Finasteride for 10 years for hair loss.

Thanks for speedy reply. Sounds like you've had an active lifestyle.

Do you still have a quality sex life?

Yes, me and the wife still swing. Usually twice a month on the weekend.

I'll only take a smaller dose of Sildenafil and have sex with fewer women as to not cause any further damage.

Thanks.
I think if I increase my length, restoring the lost inch, this will increase my confidence so i will got out more.

... I am now looking at either the Epic Extender (by Baseem) or the PeniMaster Pro.
