Has anyone had success wrapping their uncircumcised unit for the recommended 5-7 day post-Xiaflex period?

Per Dr Trost, wrapping uncircumcised penises is so difficult that they recommend circumcision, something I'm not very keen on. So before I book my appointment, I'm willing to prototype different wrapping materials and procedures. What have you tried? What's working and not working?

Did you end up with any kind of wrapping success? I'm circumcised, but my penis tends to dissappear entirely into my body when soft, so the regular wrapping method doesn't last long.

Yes, I ultimately had success with wrapping. The wrapping technique uses coban tape directly on the penis. I gather the 'regular method' starts with non-adherent gauze tape.

The steps are to stretch the penis out with one hand, put the first coban wrap under the glans, the second wrap goes up and halfway on the glans (so it adheres partly to the first wrap), then wrap down to the base of the shaft. A final strip is added to wrap the tip of the glans to prevent it from ballooning when the swelling sets in (boy, did it ever!) Then, a coban tape "jock strap" is wrapped around your hips and thighs and connected to the penile wrap. This is to prevent the wrap from sliding forward like a loose sock will do on your foot. The penis is held partially stiff by the tape when done.

I only had the jock strap for the first two days. Then, it was five more days of wrapping.

There are two negative side-effects to this wrapping method:

First, the coban tape has an aggressive design that is rough on the skin. I developed an ulcer on the glans under that first overlapping wrap. I put a bit of neosporin during my last three days, which helped. I'd say to expect some bleeding mid-week. On my Xiaflex cycle, I'll experiment with a 1/2" x 1" strip of gauze to see if that can redistribute the pressure.

Second, the coban tape sticks to itself in unproductive ways. As moved during sleep, the outside of the wrap stuck to itself and created points of great constriction. It took me almost a day to figure this out. The resulting lack of blood flow in various regions of the penis was the source of tremendous burning pain (8/10). The solve was to wrap gauze atop the coban. That's one nightmarish night I'm not getting back.

In the end, I'm very glad this Dr Trost technique worked and that I could take the Xiaflex treatment without a circumcision.

I don't want anyone cutting my penis! That's why I went for the injection and I'm glad I did. The dr told me if we don't have sex once a week, than I should masturbate. He told me exercising the prostate was important.
