Hey guys, an update here: I'm starting to worry a bit. I haven't had a strong nighttime erection since, I think, Saturday or maybe Friday night. That might be because i fasted Sunday and Monday and my body is still recovering. I've abstained from masturbation and ejaculation for 14 days now, which I hope has given my penis a chance to heal. The hard-flaccid symptoms are almost entirely gone.

I'm a little worried because I tried to obtain an erection a little while ago and it would not get all the way hard. That might be because I'm in my own head or because I'm trying not to stimulate myself too vigorously but I'm feeling low as a result. There was narrowing at the head, which might be because it just wasn't all the way hard but it's not how it usually looks and I'm worried it's due to plaque.

The plaque (at least that's what I think it is) that I feel is sizable but soft. It's on the right side, the left side, on the bottom towards the base and on the right back of the base near my scrotum. I worried that I'm totally f'~c<+d. Again, if I can get hard (as I have until very recently) the size seems the same and it's straight... I'm just so terrified my penis is ruined and will never recover.

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post but I know you guys understand better than almost anyone could.

I don't think that such a short fast can cause much damage (if any at all) to the penis. Relax, most likely you will be fine, if the things doesn't improve in a few days then you can go to a doctor.

Also try to relax your pelvic floor, this video helped me a lot when I had pelvic floor problems.

You are probably just filled with anxiety and your testosterone levels maybe a little affected because of your fast. I'm sure you did no damage to your penis and things will improve. Anxiety and worry do more damage than we realize.

Hey there,

First off, I want to acknowledge how difficult it can be to share these concerns  :-\ , so I appreciate you reaching out. It's understandable to feel worried and anxious about changes in your erectile function and any physical symptoms you're experiencing.

It's important to consider that fluctuations in nighttime erections can be influenced by various factors, including stress, fasting, and changes in routine. Your decision to abstain from masturbation and ejaculation for 14 days may indeed have had an impact on your body's response.

Regarding the hardness of your erections and the presence of plaque-like areas, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional for a proper evaluation and diagnosis. They can provide a thorough examination and offer guidance tailored to your specific situation. While it's natural to have concerns, it's crucial not to jump to conclusions about the cause without expert input.

In the meantime, practicing self-care and managing stress levels can be beneficial. Engaging in relaxation techniques, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and seeking support from loved ones can all contribute to your overall well-being.

Remember, you're not alone in this, and seeking help is a positive step towards finding solutions and regaining confidence in your sexual health. Take care, and don't hesitate to reach out if you need further support  ;)
