I have been following the study with Peyflog and Pentox injections.  My problem is actually finding a Urologist that will do Pentox injections.  Nothing in Ontario, Canada.  Hoping to find someone over the border in NY (Buffalo).  Any suggestions ?

I did read that....that's not the treatment I was looking for.. it was from this article.

So I'm trying the anti oxidant regiment and looking for just the Pentox injection.  So I'm not going to a snake oil clinic in Toronto that's just out to make profit for an injection.

You can ask him just for Pentox injection. He said he is doing that.
And for antioxidants then is your way to find them.
But just for the injection he can do it.

If that doctor is charing $4000 in that post you sent me for injections, then I'll take my luck over the border.  I have a consult with Western NY Urology (they say the do Pentox).  So I'll go for the consult and see what they say and cost.

I would imagine that place in Toronto is over the top for price

So an Update, I did call and they wouldn't give me a price over the phone.  When I said , I read online that it could be upwards of $4000, they they said yes it could be......because that also includes shockwave...etc etc....so you can't just get a shot without the upsell.

Ho told me $4000 for 6 injections bud
3 with PRP and 3 with Pentoxifylline.
Every two weeks  until we inject them.
But I was convinced here in the forum no to do PRP...
That guy you can make a deal with him.....I think he is open for different options no mater that he is gonna give you program to follow.
I did not find anything for him as success with Peyroinies treatments though.I found doctor with that name as family physician.and I think this clinic is his private bussiness on the site.

Well I tried Western NY Urology and that was waste of my time.  Despite them telling me on the phone that they did Pentoxifylline, that was not the case at all.  So I"m back to zero.  Why is it impossible to find a doctor in Ontario, that will do this.  Seems the only thing they will use is Verapamil, so I may just end up going that route with the Urologist referred to me by my GP.  I don't want to go to one of these private ED clinics that are popping up everywhere and listen to upsells.

If anyone has any suggestions, please chime in....it's so frustrating.

I don't know why you did not try that guy in Toronto. At least go e talk to him. There is no charge for appointment.Goes on your health card.He is open for options.I'm thinking to do that again, just don't know if this Pentoxfylline has any effect on Peyronies or it's just waste of money.

PRP and Pentoxifylline won't work. Nor will Shockwave, VED or traction. Don't resist the option of surgery. Make an appt with Grober in Toronto. He is the one of the leading Peyronie's experts in the world. OHIP covers it. You need a referral from your family doctor.

I was 30 degrees down and 40 degrees right. I had my surgery last January. A year later I still have the dents, but I am straight. Don't waste your time or money on anything other than researching possible surgery. Here is his info FYI. Good luck.

Personally, I wouldn't let any doctor that does PRP injections for Peyronie's lay a hand on me. There is no medical evidence or case reports to support the use of PRP for Peyronies Disease and any practitioner offering this is very likely simply trying to make a buck. It was snake oil when it was marketed as the "Priapus Shot" here and elsewhere, and that was years ago - you can find the threads through the search function.

It sounds like you guys are dealing with questionable practitioners. I'd be extremely cautious before either giving them your money or entrusting your health to them.

51 yrs. old, multiple auto-immune conditions. First episode of Peyronies Disease in 2002. Recurred a couple times since. Over the years I have tried Topical Verapamil, Iontophoresis, all the supps and Cialis + Pentoxifylline. Still functional, always worried.
