I have been observing here for a while. First post. Am 59 yo. Noticed lump when palpating my flacid penis 1 1/2 - 2years ago. Concerned with history of cancer in my family I rushed to see a U Dr.He assured it it was not cancer and just Peyronie's. He told me the no cure story. I was relieved it was not cancer and knew nothing of Peyronie's. As time went on I had a little discomfort, but nothing I would call pain. Over time (seems like overnight) I developed an almost 90 degree bend straight up. This is not a curve it is a very abrupt damn near 90 degree bend. Having never measured myself I cannot be accurate but am sure I have lost both length and girth. Some ed symptoms have shown up. Some time start with good solid erection that just seems to "peter out" on me. This is rather disturbing but I try to make light of my tired old member. In addition even with a serviceable erection I have a great deal of difficulty achieving orgasm/ejaculation. Last blood test about 6 months ago indicated "normal" T levels. Low T? peyronie's? All the advice on this forum seems to indicate the importance of finding an experienced Dr. Seems like common sense doesn't it. Anyway, Have decided it is time to find the best Dr I can locally as I cannot afford to travel to Chicago. Hopefully this Dr will be "in network" for my insurance co. Anyway, I guess I have taken an short version of the long story of what brought me here.
Can anyone suggest a Dr or Drs in the San Antonio area or how to go about finding one? I have tried search engines but have not been successful. The "best" result I got for "Peyronie's specialist in San Antonio" was a long list of Urologists. Seems unlikely they are all truly Peyronie's specialists. HELP. Thank you for reading my ramblings.

I don't know about San Antonio, however, there is a Doc in Houston that a lot of men have seen.  I don't remember his name but he does a lot of implants and I suppose he  knows all about Peyronies Disease.  Someone else will give you his name.

Would it be appropriate for this forum to create a thread with the names, address, & ph # of docs?  There are people here that have had great experience with Urologists and could post their data.   I suppose this has already been suggested, so there must be a problem with it, huh?

Has anyone here had any experience with Dr. LeRoy Jones in San Antonio?

I too am in San Antonio, with a 90 degree bend making intercourse impossible.  Now I can't get an erection even receiving oral sex or masturbation.  I'm a newbie on this board but I will try to follow you and If something comes up LOL I'll let you know.  As they say in England, "keep yer pecker up".

Houston and Arlington are closest to you that we have on record here. I would add another doc from Dallas at UTSW, Dr, Allen D. Morey.  None of our people have been to him, but my local Uro referred him and his papers look good. He uses a surgical technique that does not require de-gloving the penis. If you have watched any surgery videos, that scares me to death.
