Hello

I am currently using a suction cup traction device with a 200gram weight to help with my Peyronies Disease. I cannot feel any lumps in my penis however I do have major narrowing of the upper shaft and a bulge on the underside of the penis. I have a small left curve as well. The curve is not so troubling its the narrowing. I think I have a fibrotic ring. Is traction going to help this at all?

I have been doing traction but I am worried I am doing to much because the next day my penis is usually smaller and retracted it feels like less blood is in it. No pain. However I do have some tension in the groin after the traction session.

Is 200grams too much?
Diagnosed after two uro visits march 2023. physical exam no ultrasound

currently on 5mg cialis and using hot rice sock. trying to find right traction device
Pain started 12 2022.

I am assuming that you are using the PMP. Below is a photo of the different tensions at different markings. Since you are not in pain but only experience some physical things I say just keep at it with the lowest marking #1. I am curious though as you say that you feel tension in your groin? Have you ever had issues with pelvic pain? Do you do any leg/squat exercises or Kegels? CPPS is a very real problem and under adressed in men. I know because I have been diagnosed with this thing. It mimics prostate and urinary tract issues but is only a very tight pelvic girdle actually strangulating everything in our groin area. Physical therapy and relaxation stretches have provided me with relief.

Traction done long term has helped a lot of us with peyronies related issues. Consistency is the key and a mindset of this taking a long time. As long as you are not in pain and are following the lowest setting to start with you will get used to using it. It took me about a full 6 weeks to find the correct diaphragms and sluices for the PMP and wearing it for a total of about 4 to 6 hours a day. I did take breaks every couple of hours or so though for blood flow.

I am not using the pmp. I can only do traction after work for maybe an hour. I have a suction cup with silicon sluice which I attach to the penis then a 200 gram rice sock for a weight at the other end of a bungie string. So I sit at my desk with this contraption. First I heat up my penis with the rice sock then do the traction then after the traction I heat the penis again. No pain however I still get the turtling and I feel a tension in my Perineum area.

At the gym I do squats and many other stretches to stay flexible. I have never had any ED perineum penis issues my entire life until I got Peyronies Disease and started traction.

As long as you don't increase the weights like crazy, then it should be okay just like the picture from Mikel shows.

But ideally you would want a traction device to apply consistent force and also allow you to gauge your progress along the way.
