Hey everyone-

When I first got into this whole situation towards the end of 2022, I swore that if I cured I would not be one of those people who disappears from the forum, but instead that I would return to share why I will no longer be on this forum. There are way too many members who do that I think it leaves a lot of guessing as to what happened with them. I came back in hopes of helping someone else.

I am happy to report that I am back to having a normal sex life- which at one point seemed impossible. My erections are strong without tadalafil and my hourglass, and curve seem 75% better.

My story in a nutshell: End of 2022 diagnosed with Peyronies Disease. Started with a small bump, which later progressed into hourglass and weak erections. Looking back, I think the weak erections were half mental and half due to the hourglass. Anyway, my primary concern was the hourglass appearance and instability. I tried pentox, VED, manual traction, vitamin E....basically everything you will read about here. When I first got into this, this board was a life saver to educate myself. I was reading article after article like a mad scientist for weeks. After I educated myself, I started to distance myself from the forum as I wanted to move on with my life (I'll discuss the importance of this shortly).

From Oct 2022-February 2023, symptoms only got worse- even while taking pentox, tadalafil, vitamin, using ved, heat therapy etc.I hate taking medications anyway, so I stopped all of that and only did heat and gentle stretching at this point. In March 2023 I really started to notice things stopped getting worse, stabilized, and then started to get better. I could really write a novel on this topic, but I am going to try to keep this to the point by just telling you what I suggest to you all based on my experience. I am not a doctor and then is just what worked for ME. Also, please keep in mind I am not your average guy. I am incredibly athletic and maintain probably the strictest, most ridiculous diet you have ever seen. I don't smoke. I don't drink. I don't have cheat meals or processed food- ever. I train hard at the gym 7 days a week, I meditate, and I spend probably $1400 a month on raw and organic groceries for just me. I get natural vitamin D from the sun. Just needed to provide some context there. In general, without sounding cocky- I consider myself a 10/10 on a scale of attraction. I've always had a lot of options and that confidence certainly did help me in many ways I am sure.

My recommendations:

Diet: Eat whole foods only. Tons of raw and organic vegetables- choose a variety. For meats, I have lean grass fed beef, wild caught salmon, organic chicken, and organic eggs. For fats, organic avocados, organic olive oil, coconut, and the fat from egg yolks. There are other good healthy fats- do your research. The key here is, you will notice I didn't list carbs, and that's because I didn't eat them. Carbs create inflammation in your body- research if you are interested. It has to do with insulin levels. The only carbs I had were from a small amount of organic berries that I blended in with my vegetable based smoothies. Don't smoke, don't drink, don't have cheat meals- ever. If you need motivation for why, your dick is on the line, that should be enough said.

Medications: I think all of the recommended medications don't work. Just my opinion. I read all of the research, I tried them- and I formed my opinion. The only case I see some being beneficial, like Vitamin E, would be is if you were severely deficient in something. However, just stick to the diet above and you wouldn't have to worry about that anyway. You will get all the necessary nutrients vitamin and nutrients from that. The ONLY medication I recommend is something to create stronger erections. I used 2.5 mg of tadalafil per day, but later decided to only use it as needed before sex. If I plan to have sex I will take either 5mg or 10 mg of tadalafil. Initially this was to create more stability to overcome to hinge, now I could probably take 5 mg and be fine. Eventually maybe none at all. For now, I am kind of enjoying having a rock hard dick and being able to go multiple rounds lol- thank you tadalafil.

GET ERECTIONS: I will say, I think there is something to be said about creating NATURAL rock hard erections. Natural meaning not by a VED. I mean by your partner turning you on and the tadalafil helping. Common sense tells me that stretching out your dick is a good thing. USE your dick if you can safely. I think that was 110% key in my recovery. Too many people here go into hiding when they get diagnosed. Some literally just stop using their dick. I think that is the worst possible thing you can do. Even early on, I was going on dates and "messing around" with women. I didn't feel safe having sex then but I got oral sex which produced the same effect without the risk. Now days I just have sex. Many nights I have had sex 3 times in a night. I am just pointing that out as I want to be clear that I USED my dick- a lot. And I truly believe that helped. The constant natural stretching, massive amount of blood flow for sustained periods of time throughout sex (oral or regular). I think it helps.

Restorex: I have always had a congenital curve to the left, so after my hourglass it wasn't that the curve was really worse, it just looked worse because it wasn't as stable as a perfectly straight dick. Its just physics. Anyway, I decided to go ahead get restorex maybe in Feb...I figured even if I used to for a straight stretch that would be good. And I could also stretch against my natural curve. Now, I swear I have a straighter dick than I ever have, even before Peyronies Disease. I love the restorex. To me, its like physical therapy. You can't get a lot of negative effects from stretching your body, and I do think it helps a ton. I do 30 minutes twice a day. The first 15 minutes is a straight stretch. Last 15 is stretching against the curve. Whether my hourglass got better because of restorex, the diet I have, or just time-who knows. Just pointing out that I do believe this is a good thing. Better than a VED.Even though I used a VED initially, I DO NOT recommend it. Dangerous as hell. There is nothing natural about sucking blood into your penis with a device. That's not a real erection that your body creates. Just my two cents. Natural erections are amazing, un natural ones are not. Keep it natural, in all things if you can.

Sex: I will say again, if you can have sex do it. However, don't be stupid. When I first started having sex again I went SLOW. I didn't let the girl get on top even though she asked. I told her I had a sports injury and couldn't in that position right now. No further questions and it was fine after. First time I tried to have sex was with the girl bent over. I was in full control with nothing to worry about. I went slow. After sex I evaluated how my dick felt. Was it still attached to my body? Was it not? lol...you get my point. With every time I had sex I would gradually try more and more at my comfort level. Again, I never let a girl get on top of me- be smart. Fast forward to today. Its common to have sex 2-3 times in a night. Never ONCE have I had a girl comment on my dick. My biggest fear in the beginning was what girls would think of the hourglass. To be honest, I don't even think they noticed. If they did, they sure as hell didn't care because every girl I have dated since only wanted more. Let that sink in. Nobody is thinking about your dick as much as you are. Most of you are overthinking. This isn't a dick examination, it's sex. Just relax and be confident with what you have.

Back to the tadalafil..in the beginning that saved me. Without that, I think I would have struggled to have sex. I would recommend upping your dose before sex to create more rigidity. I read about a guy who took 20mg before sex- that might be overkill. But 10 mg for me 110% gave me more than what I even needed. A girl could touch me and I was rock hard lol.

Heat therapy is good I think, it's natural. I need to do that more often but I got lazy on that part. Warm baths I think could produce a similar effect. Incase it matters, for a couple months I also did cryotherapy going into freezing water.

Oh, this might sound weird, but I also started wearing boxers and not boxer briefs. I am pretty long at about 8 inches, so for me I felt like my dick was always smashed up in my boxer briefs, instead of being free to hang and breathe. Maybe it helped, maybe it didn't. It certainly didn't hurt. Also, if I started getting hard in boxer briefs my dick was basically getting hard all curled up- not a good thing. Think that over. When your dick gets erect it should be in a straight position to train your dick to go that way. In my head, it makes sense that if you let your dick get hard in a curved position, it could make your Peyronies Disease worse. Anyway, wear boxers not briefs- that's the moral of the story.

I think that's about it. I am truly sorry if this is rushed. On a time constraint today and this was a ton of stuff to write. I'm not usually this bossy I promise lol. Just trying to get as much info out to you all as fast as possible here. Disclaimer, this is what worked for me and my situation. I understand we are all not in the same boat. I am NOT a doctor and I will tell you to consult with a GOOD uro on anything you do. 99% of uro's are clueless on this- just FYI. Actually, I would say some can do you more harm than good. So be careful, and be smart. Educate yourself.

Just know, I was in your shoes. Now I am pretty much back to normal doing the things I mentioned above. Mindset is HUGE! Visualization is huge. Diet is huge. Natural erections- also huge! Keep it natural, its safer and you can't go wrong. The medications, the un natural methods, surgeries, they all come with risk. I feel the need to be real with you all...99% of you are not going to be willing to do the things I mentioned above. I wish you would, but its probably reality. But if you can, I absolutely believe in the body natural ability to heal. Restorex and tadalafil, natural erections, diet, etc were vessels I used to prompt the healing to occur.

I think I am done ranting now :) I truly wish all of you the best on your journey to beat this. At the end of the day you need to decide what's best for you and your situation. Everyone is different. Much love to all of you and I will be praying for you all on this journey you have ahead. Wishing you all positivity and healing!

Signing out for good.

Thank you for sharing your situation.  Did you have pain. If so where and for how long did it last?  Did you ever have any shortening, narrowing in other parts other than the hourglass indents?
