Hello,

New member here hoping for some answers. I noticed a bend in Jan 2022. It was already quite bent so I believe I may have ignored it for a while. I continued to do so until it was really bad and finally went to the Uroligist around July 2022. The doc suggested restorex which I purchased, tried a couple of times and gave up on. I wasn't dating at the time. I started dating recently and became intimate with a special lady. I have been unable to get an erection. We have had some great talks regarding this and I couldn't ask for a more understanding partner. I'm really struggling with the psychological aspects of this and vacillate between being fine to wanting to hide forever. I'll attempt to post my questions in the appropriate channel. Cheers.

Hey bent! Welcomed aboard. You are amongst people that understand you.

Have you read about restorex here? There's plenty of posts with detailed accounts as well as photos about folks experiences that may be of help to you. Make up pads, wrapping, etc.. Don't give up on it!

As for the ed, peyronies can be the cause as well. Have you considered taking medication for it? Cialis? Viagra? Could you get a prescription?

Please also fill you signature line, describing your condition. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. There's not a ton of information in your post, but it sounds like the main thing that's preventing you from having intercourse is erectile dysfunction rather than deformity. If that's true the first thing you should do is try an oral ED drug, such as Viagra Cialis or Levitra you don't say why you gave up on the RestoreX.

If you get a firm erection and can't have intercourse because of the deformity there are several treatments you can try it.  The RestoreX is one of those but this will not be an overnight fix.

You are right about one thing.  The psychological battle is every bit as important as the physical battle and the psychological battle is something you have total control over.  We have all f'~c<+d up battle and we have a board dedicated to a discussion about things that you can do to help yourself psychologically.

Best of luck, and we look forward to hearing back from you.

Hello and Thank you for the welcome. I have a few questions and am unsure which forum would be best suited for them. I am going to see my doctor for the second time and would like to be more prepared than the deer-in-headlights guy I was the first time. On the first visit, he confirmed my peyronies and suggested the Restorex traction (this was back in Oct). I stopped using it as it was painful and I don't think I was in the right place just yet. I am now using it daily as suggested for the last 6 weeks but unfortunately have not seen any real improvement.

I have also started taking the Acetyl L-Carnitine and Ubiquinol and will be asking my doctor for Cialis or Viagra to assist hopefully with the Erectile Dysfunction.

To the questions:
About how long should the Restorex be used before moving on to the injection treatments?
Is there anything else I should be asking for prescription-wise? I do not see an Idaho urologist on the preferred list so how does one evaluate how good a doctor is? (I was happy to learn he nailed it on suggesting the restorex first).

Thanks again.

Edit: Found the survival guide post which answered a coupled questions. I will ask for Pentox.

Hi. There is a dedicated Restorex section here. If you scroll down to it you can check if you used it properly.
