I believe I developed a curve after I noticed a bump on the base of my penis. The bump seemed to be inflammation of the dorsal vein and it went away after a week. I ended up going to a urologist and he felt around down below and was not able to feel any plaque whatsoever ruling out peyronies. However, I believed I developed a slight curve to the left a little after this bump came about. The urologist said that I was most likely just built that way. My question is can peyronies occur without the plaque or is this due to something else? I don't have any pain with erections or anything of that sort. I will say though when I am erect it feels like the base of my penis is kind of loose I guess? Idk how to describe it but it doesnt affect the actual quality of the erection.

welcome CurveMcGee to the forum. The first line of business is for you to fill out your signature line --> Signature Line . This will give other members info about you and give you a better response. Then you need to download our survival guide --> Survival Guide . This has a lot of info refarding peyronies and it's treatments.
So you have been to a urologist but did he do an ultrasound? You may have to go to an actual peyronies Dr if it is all possible. Normal curves are called congenital and have nothing related with peyronies.

One thing about peyronies is that it is mysterious at times just how it affects a man. Yes it can and does produce pain with or without deformity. It can cause bumps, swelling, curves, indentations ,etc... It can happen quickly or take it's time. You say your erections feel a little loose? This could be peyronies but without a clear diagnosis you are just creating a lot of anxiety and worry. I would pursue the searching for another Dr and yes a lot of us guys have had to see several Dr's before a correct diagnosis. Read the survival guide and study the forum. I would also take some preliminary measurements of your penis so you have a baseline to work from.

Hi there, I actually wouldn't say its loose. Everything about the erection is normal except a very slight curve left which I can't remember if it was there or not. However, there is no plaque which is why my urologist said its not peyronies after he did his examination. My question is can peyronies occur without the plaque being present? Thanks.

I have diagnosed Peyronies and no palpable plaque.

Urologist can't feel anything. Although probably rare, it is possible to have plaque that can't be felt by hand.

What symptoms did you have that made it get confirmed as peyronies? Was it just a start of a slight curve or was your curve severe along with pain, loss of erection, when you first noticed etc? I'm assuming you got an ultrasound to identify the plaque as well? I don't have any pain, erections are easy to get and as normal as ever but potentially I am very slightly curved to the left but I might have always been like that. I will say since I first noticed the curve I wanna say 2 weeks ago its stayed the same

For me it was very easy to diagnose as my penis has been straight pretty much my entire life at most perhaps a 5° curve to the right. What happened that caused it was most likely some minor injury. Basically went like this, 3-4 days of dull ache in the entire penis, around 2 weeks later I notice my penis has quite a sharp deviation to the right.

I instantly knew something was wrong.

Urologist diagnosed it by pictures I brought to his office.

So was that sharp curve to the right very drastic of a curve then which made it easy to diagnose?

A quick answer to your question - yes.
My condition was 35 deg bend, ultrasound revealed no plaque but identified fibrosis and concluded mild Peyronies.
Treatment Cialis RestoreX Traction
Result after almost 18 months - bend reduced to less than 20 deg, regular sex.
😋
June 2021- observed curve
September - increased curve
October - confirmed Peyronies, refered onwards to Peyronies specialist Urologist - November
Meanwhile immediately commenced traction with RestoreX after initial  visit and confirmation

Wow a 35 degree bend sounds wild glad treatment worked out for you. Did that bend happen fast or did it take awhile to get like that? Currently like I've said my curve is incredibly minor and for all I know its always been like that but I am worried that if it was peyronies that it might get worse when I could be taking treatment to prevent that. Currently its stayed the same since I first noticed it.
