Hey guys,

Age?
20 years old

What did your medical doctor conclude?
I have been to 3 Urologists.
First 2 only felt for lumps, didn't find any, but said from my symptoms it might be Peyronies. They told me to wait it out. Third urologist used ultrasound to check out my sexual organs and my Penis. She said she couldn't see anything, but said she felt very slight hardening at the "root" of my penis. Told me to take daily Cialis 5mg and come back for Verapamil shots.

How long have you had symptoms?
Proper pain and "induration" for around 6 - 7 months. I was very down in the dumps in 2021 / 2022 and had problems with errections during masturbation, think I might have hurt myself back then. Also have had slight pain after vigorous masturbation, where my pain is now, for as long as I can remember. Never really thought too much of it.

What are your symptoms?
Pain along the lower, left side of my shaft and along a vein there. Started off weak and only after masturbation, progressed to numb, pinching pain and developed to quite strong pain now. It hurts for days at a time and stops after a while of no sexual activity. Usually triggered by night time errections or masturbation.  Slight "induration" there too (feels like it doesnt fill up fully) and if not fully errect buckles to that side. I can not for the life of me feel any plaque though.

What treatments have you tried and what were the results?
Tried Cialis 5mg twice, gave me bad headaches so I'll probably lay off that. Thinking about trying the Verapamil Injections. Also considered anti-oxidants and the like.

Do you have insurance or means to get medical treatment?
Yes.

where are you in dealing with the psychological aspects of Peyronies Disease?
Im very young and I already had to deal with similar stuff before, so I'm basically burned out. If it REALLY is Peyronies (I feel like the Urologists all didn't really rule out any other causes of pain / induration) and gets really bad I don't know what I will do :/.

Are you in a relationship?
no.

Oh, also: My Penis does slightly bend to the left and is also rotated slightly clockwise. Although, I think the rotation is congenital. Furthermore, the dark line at the bottom of my Penis isn't straight but diagonal.

Hi Nironus,

Welcome to the forum.  Use the search tab, you'll learn a lot here from personal experiences than you will Googling, I did.

Seems like you're masturbating too much?  Penises take a long time to heal, weeks sometimes months.  Give it a rest for a month or two and see if you feel better.  I'm a man, I know it's not easy but you have to try.  If you're going to, use lube extra if you have too.

Keep yourself busy, play video games, go for a walk, hang with friends.  Chat with the men here, it helps.
I have a girlfriend
Age 47, No injury
Diagnosis January 2022
Six plaques
Hourglassing when flaccid and semi-erect
Only have my congenital curve
Massaging with vitamin E cream twice a day
5mg Tadalafil, Healthy diet
Discomfort/aching sometimes

Welcome Nironus to the forum. First line of busines is would you please fill out your signature line --> Signature Line . This will give other members a quick snapshot all about your condition. Then you need to download and study our survival guide --> Survival Guide . This will educate you more regarding peyronies and it's different treatments.

The first thing you should do is to be careful with masturbation. I know you are young and your T levels are probably pretty high but you need to keep it at a minimum now and use a lot of lube and be gentle. Pain is an indicator that something is not right. You said that Cialis gives you headaches, maybe you should try the 2.5 mg dose. Some side effects of it lessen after about 2 to 3 weeks of taking it for some men. This medication is beneficial and can reduce your inflammation and promote healing along with improving erections.

If I were you I would try to find one more Dr, preferably a peyronies specialist if it is all possible. If you are close to Chicago I highly recommend Dr Levine at Rush medical center , or even Dr Trost in Utah.

Study up on traction therapy as I also believe this could be of some benefit for you. Then there is VED therapy which also helps a lot of guys. Read the forum and you will learn more and more which will help you in the long run of things.

I would also ask you if your are health conscious? Do you exercise? Weight train? Eat healthy? This will help your body out with inflammation and also help you in your lifetime with laying down some good habit patterns.

You do need to keep your mind in order and not obsess over this. Yes it is not easy at times but you must adopt a mindset that this is a marathon and not a sprint. You will not conquer this in a month as it takes time and patience and dedication. Distract your mind with video games, walking, doing things you enjoy. Read a good book, do some push ups, etc...

The one thing that you do have in your favor is that you are young and can heal faster than us older gents here. Don't despair and feel like this is going to get worse. You may be through with the worst part already and are on the road to healing. Our minds can play tricks on us at times.
