47, married 20 yrs. Athletic.
Started 5 weeks ago literally overnight, pain first noticed when erect especially during intercourse, slight burning during urination like something is stuck in there. Flacid ache with good days and bad.
Thought it was UTI or kidney stone. Immediately scheduled doc. 2 seperate urine tests and blood tests for all stds etc. All clear and remarkable 2 week wait for results with no change in pain. Constant worry. Penis straight with slight dent on shaft close to glans. Plaque is center (around urethra.. yay) and to the right, pea sized approx. Medical system not positioned to deal with this problem at all. I contacted a private clinic asap and made consult as I have had to do this before for neck pain. I did my own research and suspected Peyronies. Already 1 week into a super aggressive treatment. PrP, pump, traction, Pentox tabs and injections, Sound wave, cialis (although bad side effect with cialis... burning muscles in legs, had to discontinue), verapamil, Q10 400mg and Vitamine E and Tumeric/Cucurmin.
The pain for me is the worst part and the feeling of something stuck up the urethra kinda drives me nuts. Hope to get ahead if it the next 6 months.

Welcome zoned999 to the forum. Thank you for filling out your signature line. Also  if you haven't read our survival guide --> Survival guide .

It sounds like you are approaching things aggressively and I would say that is good but don't overdue it on the traction and VED. Take things slowly at first then gradually increase.  I would say no to the sound wave stuff and what exactly are you injecting? It is sad that you could not get into a peyronies or otherwise educated Dr.

Main goal is to reduce inflammation and restore/correct and deformities. Search the forum and better educate yourself as to what other members have had success with.

You might try some heat therapy as this can alleviate your pain somewhat. Cialis can have some different side effects but usually for a lot of men they do lessen in severity after a couple of weeks. Keep the mindset as this is a marathon and not a sprint.

Hi Mikel7, I did get into a specialized Peyronies clinic (next day) and within 4 weeks of the onset of pain. Injections are (3) of my PRP into the plaque and (2) Petox into the plaque over a course of 8 weeks, already did 1 PRP. The worst part is the freezing needles. The program is 6 months total and after 8 weeks intense therapy each week its all meds and the traction with followups. I'm light on the traction and only 10 minutes twice daily with pump for 10 also and not going over 5 inHG Vac. As for the cialis I'm under the understanding that my femoral arteries are quite large due to many years competitive cycling which then presses on the nerves when pumped with cialis, its quite unbearable actually. Thank you for your advice.
FYI. urologists here are 1 year out!
