Hi all,
Thanks in advance for any advice.
I had the Coloplast prothesis operation in 2019 just before the Pandemic.
I'm very happy the way it goes up in a straight line.
I do have a couple of issues-
The major one, is that when having sex, or thinking about sex, my balls swell up.
That's pretty normal
The problem is that they stay swollen up.
Attached are two photos taken "the morning after"  -
One taken at 9am
The next take at 2pm
As you can see, there's very little shrinkage through the day.
I can actually go days with my balls in a swollen or semi swollen state.
This has only occurred since the operation and I thought it would eventually settle down.
It hasn't.
Is this common after this operation?
Do others here have that problem?
I saw the Urologist a year ago.
He said he didn't know why it was like this. He'd look into it, and let me know.
He hasn't, so I'm seeing him next week.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks John

Hey John!

It's tough to say... But, have you experienced pain along with it? Or any fever? Has this been worsening during this time, as in more swelling? You are doing the right thing by checking in with your urologist. But if he doesn't provide much help, maybe it would be beneficial for you to try to find a proper sexual medicine specialist in your area.

In some cases, they order a CT scan to see how the implant is working inside your body and the surrounding areas.

I don't have an implant, but I am curious for your update about what he has to say.

Thank you for your reply. No pain or anything else. No, it hasn't got any worse. It was basically like this from straight after the operation. I just thought it would subside, but it hasn't. I wondered if anybody had this problem. I'll see what the Urologist says about it. I'll let you know.
