Hi All,

I am a 27 year old male. About 7 years ago I sustained some kind of injury during intercourse that resulted in an observable change to my penis. Uros I saw stated that if I could still achieve and maintain an erection, there was nothing I should do. A couple of them prescribed viagra but I was determined to keep doing things naturally. It's safe to say that although things were mostly working, my confidence had been wrecked and my anxiety around sex skyrocketed. I had a handful of relationships, a couple of them decently fulfilling, but others that were difficult.

Fast-forward up to about a month ago. I was with a girl that I was seeing casually. We were being intimate and she used her hand on me in a way that didn't necessarily feel rough but perhaps slightly uncomfortable. That happened twice in one night and I thought nothing of it. After that night, I started to notice that when partially erect, my penis would sometimes bend to the left. I also realized that a small indentation on the right side of my shaft had become more noticeable and spread farther across the center of my penis to about the middle of the shaft. It also seemed like the base of my penis had become weaker, and there was narrowing towards the tip.

I had, and still have, a lingering dull pain down the left side of my shaft. I am also concerned I might've interrupted the healing process when I inadvertently sat down awkwardly on a toilet seat and my flaccid penis pressed against it. I am still having erections at night that feel somewhat normal, and the indentation is mostly noticeable when flaccid or sometimes when partially erect. At the moment, my primary concern is the indentation, narrowing, and likelihood of reinjury. I am working on setting up an appointment with a doctor to get a referral to a uro. Psychologically, I am okay but I have bad days. A handful of questions:

1. Any advice from people who have similar type situations on how to avoid the possibility of reinjury? That is my biggest concern.  I want to continue to date and live normally but I also understand the crucial nature of healing.

2. Any other guidance on low risk, OTC treatments in the meantime?

3. I am wondering if long-term I may need to consider an implant. Wanted to know if people who may have suffered with some of the instability, narrowing issues found resolution w/ an implant in terms of full functionality and satisfaction with their sex lives? Thanks, and let me know.
