Has anyone done Physical Therapy for penile pain?

I will do a second session next week. First session therapist palpated me and appeared to find a muscle (to the right of right scrotum) that was tight and needed to be released of "energy." I sure felt tenderness there and teared up as she pressed against it.

How about you?

I am doing pelvic floor therapy as we speak. So far I can get very temporary relief if any but I'm trying all of my options.

Something to keep in mind when going to a pelvic floor therapist. There are occupational therapists that specialize in pelvic floor (this is who I saw first not realizing the difference). The reason I didn't see the difference is the titles of the businesses pelvic health etc. but the person doesn't have a medical degree. IMO avoid those places unless you want more of a therapy session. You really want someone with a physical therapy degree that specializes in men's pelvic health. They are way more aware of the anatomy.

Currently, I am seeing a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic wellness for men. Although I don't think it will be my solution as I'm still in pain after a few weeks I have seen some mild relief. Having said that it's hard to say if it's mildly better or just different (granted I need to continue the exercises).

As part of the therapy however I am working on convincing myself that this will solve my pain problem. That way if the pain is part mental it should reduce it by keeping a positive mindset that this really could fix the pain.

Anyways best of luck and I hope everything goes well for you!

When you say penis physical therapy? Do you mean pelvic wellness I'm interested in what they have you doing?
