Has anyone used Restorex and VED prior to their IPP surgery?

I'm scheduled for surgery with Dr. Hakky on April 4th. He told me to pump my dick up to a full erection and hold it and release for 5 cycles (10 minutes) daily. I wonder if adding restorex would be a good idea too to help my stretched penile length or whatever they use for the measurements? What do you guys think?

You have surgery in less than a month. Neither pumpin nor traction will do anything in that short amount of time.

But I assume by your signature you have a pump already so just follow his advice. Restorex will do nothing in 1 month.

My erection looks fairly normal albeit thinner but underneath the top 3rd of my shaft just narrows at the and is not getting rigid so I can't get enough friction on it to have an enjoyable orgasm (feel more like ruined ones) like before NTE's have also vanished despite my 20mg or 100mg cialis or viagra nightly dose. Last Trimix injections was scary and gave me a 3.5 hour erection but same story from mid to upper shaft it narrows and is not firm enough to risk sex or enjoy masterbation I think tissue below it is ok though.

Fly out for doppler on the 3rd to confirm the IPP is the right path then surgery on the 4th. Gotta get this under control the impact it's had on my life is pretty bad.

I did both on and off for years. I feel like it helps, if you look at my journal seems like restorex added some length.

Implanted on the 7th so I can't tell you yet if it positively impacted my overall result.

Just remember, you have one month until surgery, now you could regain some size BUT you could also potentially injure yourself further too before surgery. Just be aware of the risk and see if it's worth it for you.

Trapper, some members have injured themselves using either device. Have a look at the VED and traction forums.

If you're cautious, you should be okay. With VED, have a read of the protocols and never over-pump. With restorex, be sure to follow the manual correctly.

I have used both devices and can say that they definitely helped. However, I did injure myself once with VED. It was my own fault, I was seeing great results (improvement in ED, regaining girth, improvement in curvature), I became a bit overconfident and left my penis in the chamber for too long. I didn't realize that the chamber was also on a bit of a downwards angle, and the top of my penis was htiting the chamber. When I took my penis out, there was more pain which eventually resulted in further dents and narrowing. Don't let this put you off, if you use it correctly, you should be okay.

Dr Hakky is very well known, if he advised to use VED, it's most likely that it will benefit you. Just use with caution. With the restorex studies, I think it was 3 months before any improvement with curvature/lengthening was recorded.

Congratulation on making a decision and getting a date with an excellent surgeon.

I  kind of disagree that the time is too short to do any good.  It might be too short to make permanent gains without an implant, but if it does no more than stretch your current tissue to its full current potential, it might result in your surgeon bumping up your implant one notch.  So I think there is nothing to lose.  

I am not suggesting that you be brutal, but IF you have any traction device, I would use both a little more aggressively than I would otherwise.  The danger of microtrauma is that it will trigger new plaque and deformity.  It is my NON-medical opinion that is of no concern before implant surgery.  Your penis will soon see far more trauma, AND the implant will prevent any scarring from shrinking, whether inflated or deflated.

If you do not already have a traction device I would just use the VED.

Thank you Hawk! I do already have a traction device so I'm just using it 30 minutes daily (seems to relax the scar tissue) along with 10 minutes of VED per Hakky's instruction. I am about 6.75in in length and 5.5in in girth (mid-shaft where the scar tissue and HG is). I am hoping I can experience a girth increase as some have. I kinda wonder what size cylinder Dr. Hakky will go with? I have so many questions Dr. Hakky gave me his cell great guy but I don't want to blow it up with my endless questions!
