I have to start a 6 week course of radiotherapy with 2 lots of chemo at 1 and 3 weeks for base of tongue and a lymph node cancer. I've been told to stop all my vits and supplements and i take way too many tbh. Because of my peyronies i take vit e, acetyl l carnatine ubiquinol,larginine/citrulline,ginseng/ginko, zinc and a couple of others. Most of these have blood thinning properties and i'm a bit worried it might have a major effect if i stop them all. i have varicos veins as well, bit concerned about blood clotting. I'll chat with my docs about it, but wondering if anyones had a similar experience. thanks

I know that certain supplements do interfere with the chemical and enzymatic processes in the liver and p450 system. They do also alter the viscosity of your blood. In regards to chemo you probably should disclose to your Dr the things you are taking and for the reason. You could also find out exactly which med you will be taking and call a pharmacist who should be knowledgeable as to the interactions of the drug. You could also take a daily baby aspirin to help with blood viscosity.
