Sjiht

Let me start of by saying thanks to everyone on this forum and especially its creators. Perhaps good to know, I'm not a native English speaker so I might make some mistakes.

Hello i'm 26 years old and about 3 months ago I started having some symptoms being some discomfort during erections. This discomfort did not go away (which I initially assumed), but stuck around and became worse even when flaccid.
Since a month or so I also have discomfort/'nagging-pain' when flaccid. My erections for now are slightly angled (15*) to the left, due to a dent on the left side of my penis near the base. This also makes it difficult to get and erection standing up. Probably because the structural integrity of the base is 'compromised'.

I went to my doctor (GP), explaining my situation/symptoms, and he confidently stated that it surely can not be Peyronies Disease, because i'm young. Naturally, I did my homework before the visit and it is safe to say I was mightily annoyed by his confidently false statements. I expressed my true panic about the whole situation, so he enabled an urologist appointment (which is tomorrow). Hopefully the urologist will be helpful.

Since I noticed a curve/dent in my erect penis, a month ago, I started the following daily oral medication.

- 1x 300 mg vit E
- 2x 1500 mg l-arginine
- 2x 1000 mg l-carnitine
- 1x 100 mg ubiquinol
- 1x 100 mg q10
- some Vitamine C&D, because that never hurt anyone.
- 1 Raw onion every day, since it helps boost testosterone and is anti-inflammatory

I also started taking cold showers, since it helps against inflammation. I mostly do this because of eczema.

I'm only sexually active for a couple years (currently single) and it feels like pleasant intimate/sexual relationships are already coming to an end for me. Naturally I'm in great distress. Perhaps that's a pessimistic conclusion, but it is definitely how it feels right now.

Don't wont to make this post too long. Not sure if this is the place to ask it, but for now I just wanted to ask if anyone has some advice for me?

Age 26, first symptoms January 2023, dent on the left side near base making erections more unstable, slight 10° curve to the left. Varying pain symptoms. Currently on L-arginine, L-carnitine, Q10, and Vitamins: E, C, D3, K2.

Welcome Sjiht tot he forum! Your English is fine and you don't have to worry about how long your post is. You need to add a little more info though to your signature line -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,10819.0.html .
Also if you have not done so please download and read/study our survival guide -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.0.html   . This will educate you more which is good.

Your Dr gave you wrong information about peyronies.  It can and does affect young men - just not a high percentage as compared to older men. The supplements you are taking will not harm you and can alleviate inflammation and increase your energy and may improve things a bit.  You do need to see a peyronies Dd though if at all possible where you live. Get an ultrasound and a correct diagnosis.

Pain is an indicator that you need to limit/cease your sexual activity and keep it to a minimum. I would say that masturbation should be gentle and infrequent if you are in current pain. You should also get some correct measurements of your penis size as a base. Girth measurement, stretched and erect length along with flaccid length will be helpful for you down the road. This is all conjecture in regards if you do actually have peronies.

You need to continue to educate yourself regarding peyronies as there are not a lot of specialist out there. Study up on VED therapy and the benefits of traction. Heat therapy is also a useful tool for helping with pain management. I can personally attest to this one myself. I have also read studies about cold showers, but the topic was centered on stimulating dopamine and such. If it works great! I may suggest that you could substitute out your L-Arginine for L-Citruline because of the direct conversion factor. Study about it. You have found a wonderful forum with caring members of all ages who are here to interact and help out! Keep your mindset that this journey is a marathon and not a sprint!
