Cialis dosage

I started taking 5mg Cialis a few days ago. Before I started, I wasn't having erection pain but I had some curving. The erections I get on 5mg Cialis are basically back to my normal left congenital curve but they make it such that my penis is not very mobile; it's rock hard but it points straight up at my stomach and moves very little. I'd have a hard time trying to do most sexual positions when it's that's rigid. It also might be curving up more than it used to but I can't tell if that's the Cialis or if that was already starting to happen.

Should I try 2.5 mg Cialis instead? Is there risk in taking 5mg Cialis if the erection is so strong that it doesn't move away from my stomach easily?

Are you taking it at night?
5mg shouldn't cause damage to your penis.
2.5mg in a nightly dosage is perfect imo.

I've been taking it when I wake up, switching to night probably makes more sense.
