So, like many other people that visited this forum during a very crappy  point in their life they usually do not want to come back here. I got diagnosed with Peyronie's from urologist. I had Bending that occurred to the left and also straight up. With a few fibrous deposits of scar tissue in about three separate areas.

The first couple years caused extreme pain. And after a while, it slowly got manageable. I wanted to share, though that the pain completely went away and the bending to the left completely went away, and the bending upwards was dramatically reduced after doing the keto diet about three times in one year for three to four months each time. Also, old muscular injuries I had that did not go away for years and years went away during keto.

I believe that fasting till about two to three p.m. every day while on the keto diet and only having what they referred to as bullet coffee was a part of this to. In my opinion, what happened was my body cannibalized the damaged tissue which means literally ate the damaged tissue when I was in extreme caloric deficits, then rebuilt it as normal tissue.

I had only 20 g of net carbs per day and did at least one hour of cardio every single day. Probably once to twice a week I would do about 2 to 3 hours of cardio a day burning 500 cal for one hour and up to 1200 for three. The supplements I took were high-quality vitamins about 2000 mg of fish oil a day, vitamin D, CO Q 10, and NAC.

I won't be coming back on here or even checking these messages, but I felt that I should share this with you guys. I wish everyone the best luck and I suggest looking into what I'm talking about because I believe that makes scientific sense. I have heard in podcasts from knowledgeable individuals on the Andrew Huberman podcast that fasting can pretty much cause cells to be completely broken down and then rebuilt into new cells, which can decrease the chances of cancer. I imagine the general principle as what happened to the damaged tissue.

Good luck friendo's the worst thing that can happen from following my advice is you lose 20 pounds. 8)

I would try this but I'm skinny as it is and I think if I lost another 20lbs I would be a skeleton.

I am trying lots of different things but nothing seems to have worked in 6 years. Is this something that would be worth trying?

Has anyone else had results from this?

Man, I tried keto for 3 days and gave up because I felt so weak and tired and I had to work. I admire the OP as he sounds so committed to exercise that much. It's amazing. I think intermittent fasting such as 8/16 diet is a good starting point. I did that for a while and after reading this post, I'm gonna do it again.

thanks for the post. I am 60 and being very fit . ( 6-7 times a week workouts at least an hour, cold plunge, yoga)  I did Keto for a few month but stopped after 4 month. I developed Peyronies Disease three month ago and it came pretty suddenly. Still not sure what it caused it. Only I remember  was under severe stress due to a family emergency. I am usually being on a 14/12 or 12/12 intermitten fasting circle. Perhaps I try this again with going on Keto for a while and perhaps a 2-3 day water fasting. Let's see if it helps.

This is not uncommon. Mine also happened roughly 9 months after the passing of a family member. It was a greatly stressful tragic and dark moment and I have read about others who have gotten the disease during such periods of stress. I do not know how that physiologically works but it genuinely seems like severely stressful events can cause Peyronies in patients prone to it.

I got mine also during an very traumatic and stressful time in my life. Stress does alter DNA and change cells forever. Incredibly powerful.

Same, my Peyronies was triggered when I was going through a very stressful period in n my life. Now that stressor has been removed and left with peyronies to stress about the rest of my life. Life is a joke.

I take omega3 supplements also, and vitamin D and NMN. Been on the Virta Keto diet for 7 months. I fast frequently but with no schedule, I just don't eat big meals. Lost 31 pounds to date. No exercise routine though. The Peyronies Disease started about the same time as the diet. No idea how it happened except that my Mom had Dupuytren's contracture a couple of times, so it's probably just DNA. No injury that I can recall. Some rough sex a few months earlier. But nothing as bad as a cowgirl injury.

Same thing here. An extremely stressful event somehow caused my Peyronies... it must be a recurrent theme on this forum

Your peyronies probably came through genetics because of the Dupuytrenes. Cowgirl positions in sex is the other famous way to get peyronies.

I'm sure it's genetics in my case. The plaque came out of nowhere, but it might have been due to rough sex a few weeks/months earlier. Some women think we like that, I honestly never have. But what can you do but tell them?
