Not sure where to begin or even go to ask questions yet. Im 45 and have had some ED issues for a couple years. Got hurt around late July or August. At first nothing to it. But slowly over the weeks the pain started. Got a slight bend to the left. I was worried started looking into what it could be. Lots of searches and peyronie's kept coming up. Never felt anything hard but my buddy is hurt.

Made an appointment with an urologist and was able to get in by November. That was a complete waste of time. He asked some basic questions and looked. I never heard a pop, no bruising, nothing like that. Told me once it heals and if there's a bad bend we could discuss surgery. I left mad and confused. Told my wife just feel alone and no where to turn to. Really started to research this. Was there any help or any doctor who's not an idiot.

Came across here and other info. Start pumping, using the stretch thing, got magnesium pills, the Nitric Oxide pills. Been doing the stretch/extender 30 minutes a day and pump 10 minutes. Bend seems to have stopped. The pain has now went away. Pumping has helped the hour glass for me.

This is my issue. My bend to the left I swear it's broken. My right side is all that is doing anything. I don't know how to explain this. If I lay down it like falls that way. Is this normal? I assume I got a lot more healing to do just don't know. Don't have anyone to turn to for this. My wife is fine she supports me. But I'm embarrassed by all this. I've read horror stories on here and scares the crap out of you. It's like you are helpless and no one cares.

Welcome to the forum Abioticred. First thing you should do is to please fill out your signature line -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,10819.0.html . This will allow other members to see your history. Also if you haven't done so you need to read our survival guide -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.0.html . This is filled with everything regarding peyronies and it's different treatments.

Sorry to hear about your Dr visit as there are few Urologists that are educated and experienced with peyronies. It sounds like you have a little knowledge about treatments. Look into VED therapy as suggested here and also traction therapy.
They can help with stopping the loss of length and also reducing curvature.
If I were you I would try to see if you could get into an actual peyronies specialist if you are close to one. You should get a Doppler scan to get a clear diagnosis of what is going on. It is great that your wife is involved in this as it eases the mental burden of it all. You should also not be embarrassed about this as this is a part of your manhood and you should feel no shame with that. There is something in your body that is broken and needs fixing.

There is hope through all of this and yes there are some horror stories here that are not the norm. Get a mindset that this is a marathon and not a sprint and you will be ahead of the game. I personally used heat therapy a lot to help with my pain when I was in the acute stage. Mikel7 :)
