Hi, the reason for this thread is I wanted to check in with @averagebloke how his implant is treating him. As far as I know of average bloke is one of the few people that I've read that had constant penile pain at the time of his implant(his journal  said). I was going to direct message, but I figure there may be someone my age later on who would want to know this.

After your implant, has your peyronies pain decreased? Also, if not was it still a good decision to you?

I really appreciate the time hoping to hear back @ averagebloke

I've been really interested in AveravBlokes journey as well as he is also from Australia.

I dont think he has been very active on the forums (I could be wrong).

I spoke to Dr Eid about Peyronies pain, he advised that usually post-implant, pain from peyronies does subside but there is no guarantee.

Thank you anon! That is pretty comforting to hear. I'm not a doctor but I am an engineer. This is my completely uneducated idea of why the implant would solve pain.

Either A the implant stretches the plaque and releases a nerve trapped in the plaque. Or b the implant prevents further damage to occur to the already weakened "part". I think that this could even be a combo of the two. for me my plaques get very irritated by any time of massaging or after (activity). So if the implant helps my pain/flare ups I would think that it is because it prevents further damage

Again only my hypothesis. I deal with bent and weakened parts all day the fix is usually replacing the part. So I'm this case I think the implant makes sense
