How does the Tip feel with an implant?

I just had a call with a gentleman from the UK and he told me that since the tip doesn't get as hard a woman may feel the rods against her cervix instead of the more cushy penis head. He was only a few weeks out from his implant and had not tried pde5's or intraurethral to make the head harder.

Just curious if guys found this was the case? If so, viagra/cialis fix it?

Curious about this too... All the journals I've read seem to indicate that, if you had good glans engorgement pre-surgery, you will continue to have it post-surgery... Others, require PDE5s to get the glans aroused.

A lot of guys seem to be taking the daily 5mg cialis post-implant.

I've also read where several guys who still get glans engorgement with their implant.  It does make sense that if that area has had no injury or affect from peyronies and you get a skilled Dr to give you an implant , then things should still  function as before with your glans filling up.

He is a diabetic and told me he had a bit of neuropathy so maybe that can effect glan engorgement?

He was very happy though and he is in his early 30's just like me. Is making me heavily consider the implant because my tip feels all crooked and out of whack even though my erections look straight and healthy. I think I am at the beginning of the decline where most men say they wish they got their implant.

I have very little glans engorgement so the tips of my implant have been felt, I know that. I made a woman 'sore' and not in a good way.

I'm trying everything to improve this but nothing seems to work.

I have no problem with glans engorgement. I had no problem pre implant.
But I understand how this could be horrible. I am wondering if there are fillers that could be placed in the glans?
Perhaps you should submit this question to Dr Eid?
Best wishes

Good suggestion Stepone. I'll add this to my list of questions for my appointment with him on the 7th.

I pretty much had TOTAL ED by the time I had an implant.  I get no glans expansion.  The tips of the cylinders go 1/3 to 1/2 of the way into my glans.  Never have I felt them nor has my wife (in any position or intensity).

The skill of the surgein has NOTHING to do with whether your glans and spongiosium expand after surgery.  That is completely dependent on whether they expanded prior to surgery.  Also keep in mind that just as men develop ED at all ages for a wide assortment of reasons, you can develop full ED years after an implant and gradually or suddenly lose the ability to have an engorged glans and spogiosum even if you had them following surgery.

I can get a FULLY engourged glans, etc with a VED and inflation but it hardly seems worth the effort.  It seems it is only me that notices the difference even though my wife is fully interested in sex.  I do notice that my glans seems more full in the flaccid/deflated state than it did prior to surgery.

There are collagen fillers that can be injected into the glans and Dr. Eid has done a lot of that priceedure.  It is NOT covered by any insurance however.  It is rather expensive and is temporary, lasting only about 12-24 months if I recall correctly.

I am two weeks post implant now (with TEP), I am starting to get feeling back throughout my penis and I can confidently say that when squeezing my glans, there doesn't seem to be anything abnormal or any indication that there is tips of an implant in there.

I will report back in a few months though once everything is healed, but most member reviews seems to indicate that this wouldn't be a major issue. Always good to be cautious thought.
