Came across this during a search. Looks promising. Does anyone have experience with this specific treatment?

Peyronie since 2020. Inflammation started probably after microtrauma. Almost no curvature. Still a weak spot with  scarring. At this point biggest issue is ED and once in a while recurring inflammation.

I will move this to the alternative treatments board. Try a search as there are several discussions there already regarding PRP shots and therapy. And several members have experienced a worsening effect after they tried this. I don't think there experience was from this particular location, but PRP therapy has been around for a while, and I don't see anything new here.

That is correct but here I don't think the urologist is a quack

You asked and got an honest answer, what you make of it is up to you.

I tried the P-shot combined with amniom, that caused me new fibrosis on the bottom of the shaft and new hinge, the Shockwaves caused me a little more deviation. Dr Trost mentioned that the PRP and the Shockwaves won't do anything for fibrosis and in some cases like mine it will make it worse. I do not recommend to ANYONE going to that clinic in London because you have the risk to get worse
My first symptoms started early in 2019
I tried Traction device, Pentofixiline, Q10, TRT, L-Argenine, cialis

I have just completed a course of 6 holistic treatments with Shockwaves/Mansmatters  in Richmond (they are also in central London).

Each treatment comprised

Targeted shockwaves (about 25 minutes)
General Magnet transduction (about 30 seconds)
And the following medication supplements and devices
Tadalafil
Nattokinase
Acetyl L-Carnitine
Ubiquinol
Vitamin D3 and K2
Soma Vacuum Pump

I first contacted them just before Christmas 2022 for a free consultation.  I went in with low expectations as my plaque was over 4 years old, had stabilised and was pain-free.  But I had a 30 degree curve to the left and was interested if that could be reduced.

The treatment was relatively expensive at £3,000.  To be honest I expected to be told that given the age of my plaque the chances of success would be low.  And I would have accepted that but still gone ahead.  I look at these things like going to a casino - have a good understanding of how much money you are taking in and be prepared to lose it with nothing but the experience to show for it.

The doctors were very nice, explained everything very clearly, they agreed that there were no guarantees but assured me that the chances of significant improvement was over 60% and the chances of minor improvement much higher.  They told me that even though my plaque was over 4 years old it was still relatively soft and that they had high confidence of significant improvement.

There was a bit of a hard sell though.  Immediately after the consultation they pushed for me to start the course and have the first treatment there and then.  I resisted because this was a week before Christmas so it would mean a three week gap between the first two treatments, I said that I preferred to start in the New Year so I could have a treatment each week.  We then picked a date in January and I was quite surprised that they insisted on taking full payment for the whole course (£3000j there and then.  Looking back it did feel like they weren't going to let out of the building without signing up and paying.

So onto the treatments.  The shockwaves feel like rapid pin pricks and leaves areas of black bruising which clears up after a few days helped with vitamin E oil.  The pain was in a way reassuring because it felt like something was happening.  The Magneto thing felt more hocus-locus, it is a loop that is waved a few inches from the penis, it makes clicking noises, but this is only for 30 seconds at most - it felt more like part of a mystical show than an actual medical procedure.

As the treatments progressed I must admit that I did feel better - my mental state was much more positive as I imagined improvement, and although I achieved erections before the treatment started they were now much stronger - but I suspect that was more to do with the Tadalafil.

But half way through, after 3 sessions, there was no discernible improvement in the bend, so I asked whether it was worth continuing.  I was told "absolutely", that you don't see improvements until the 5th session (they had said this at the start) Once again they said that my plaque was relatively soft and they had high confidence that I would see significant reduction in the curve.

At the start of the final (6th) session I reported that there was no discernible improvement and then the attitude totally changed.  My condition was no longer described as relatively soft with high confidence but became "you came to us with a very complicated plaque that was over 4 years old" this was the very first time that my condition had been described like this.

At the end of the 6th session, the doctor told me that it was worth continuing with the Tadalafil (which I already had as an NHS prescription) but I could stop the other medication/supplements but there were two that I could continue as a lifestyle choice.  He told me which were the two but I asked him to write them down - he told me that the administrator would email details and the links were to buy them in the next day or so (so I didn't bother noting which ones).

About a week later I realised that I had not received any email so I contacted them asking which I should continue taking.  The administrator replied quite curtly, with a list of all medicines saying that I didn't need to take any of them.  When I replied that the doctor had said that I could continue two of them as a lifestyle choice the administrator simply replied that she could arrange a consultation with the doctor so I could ask him and that would cost £300.

I was left pretty disappointed by that.

It was that my curvature didn't improve, it wasn't that I had spent a lot of money, I went in with low expectations prepare to gamble that money.

It wasn't the individual doctors, they all seemed very pleasant.

It was the feeling that the most important thing to them felt like getting the money.  It was selling the dreams, downplaying my condition at the outset, being extremely confident and then only at the end when it didn't work, telling me that my condition was very complicated and long established.

I would have preferred them to be honest at the outset, but with hindsight, think they didn't do that because I might have declined the treatment and walked away.

Overall, I'm not sorry that I tried and it didn't work.  As I said, it is a lot of money so go in with a mindset that you are prepared and can afford to spend that, possible for no outcome.  The doctors all seemed very pleasant and easy to talk to.  I'm sure that it does help for some, I don't believe that the testimonials are made up, but I do suspect that they are heavily filtered - they don't show all of the ones that weren't successful.  Be prepared at the start to be told that your case is relatively simple with high confidence of results even if it isn't - at the end of the day they want you to sign up and hand over payment.

They have a testimonial book of success stories which they referred to me at the start to justify their confidence - somehow I think that when I submit my experience it won't make it into the testimonial book.

More worrying - it is now two weeks since the last treatment and my penis has started to hurt - not extreme, it feels like a mild continuous burning.  I didn't have any Peyronies pain before the treatment started, I did have in the past but that had gone over time as the condition stabilised.

I'm worried now that pain has returned - is this because the shockwaves did break up some of the plaque and it is now reforming (possibly to become worse) or could be that I have overdone the vacuum device.  Not sure but quite worried.

Thanks for sharing and sorry for that experience. I had shockwaves before (6 sessions) and it hurt after four a few months; pain decreased over time. I guess it will be same for you. My hourglass disappeared, but a new plaque appeared and it turned upwards so I dunno. I've given up on supplements also. I've tried every supplement under the sun. Waste of money for me. I think diet and exercise is the only chance. This includes massaging and stretching. If that doesn't work, then operation.

Can't say I have heard of PshotLondon but I have went to MansMatters in their Richmond Clinic specifically and have to say I was one of the lucky ones. I did my research and contacted a number of other clinics and i would say they are one of the most professional outfits I ever visited. They made it clear that it was about a 50 percent chance of improvement for all men. Like I said i was one of the lucky ones as the only other option really is surgery. I know there is a lot of cosmetic clinics out there that offer a lot of dodgy treatment options but i found MansMatters very genuine as I said, especially as they made it clear to me that it wouldn't work for everyone and my chances were about 50/50

50 percent of men,

That's the same experience I had.

And yes it was Mansmatters in Richmond, London I went to.

Their treatments are now £4,000 for 6 sessions of shockwave therapy.

That's what I paid.

Complete waste of time.
