Mental health getting worse by the day

Hey Guys,

I was struggling with a little bit of depression before I reinjured my plaque (isolation work from home). Whenever I get depressed I can take masterbating a bit to far even though I know over masterbating is not good for me it's almost like cutting you know it's bad for you but you do it anyways to feel better.

Anyways, now I reinjured my plaque 3 or 4 weeks ago and my curve has increased my erections are weak and I feel 10x more depressed. My doppler is monday and it's all I can think about. Came to visit my family for my birthday but I told them i'm sick and need to rest. I just feel like isolating myself until this is fixed and that I could have a mental breakdown at any moment due to all this physcological distress.

Do not try crazy stuff like Shockwave or any type of injections, be very careful with traction or VED, and do not get obsessed with your penis getting fixed, because the chances of getting fixed are minimal. I'm also extreme depressed about my penis, but I still want to live and have life goals, because it will be a time and age that I won't care as much about my penis

I can't say I've ever had depression but one thing that I'd suggest is definitely not isolating yourself from family. And honestly I wouldn't even avoid dating. Go on dates, enjoy their company, you don't have to have sex. I'd just try to carry on with your life as usual the best you can. Despite me not being able to have sex I've kept everything else consistent. I actually went on a couple dates and ended up back home with them. That of course led to things getting heavy and I basically told them I want to wait to have sex, but we still did other things which involved oral sex. This went fine and despite the hourglass, I don't think they even noticed anything. I'm not going to have sex though for sure as it's way too risky for me. My point is though, just try to make the best of the situation. In reality, the only thing that's prob different for you is no sex. Everything else can be the same. Always here if you need to talk man.

Remember, if worst comes to worst you can go the implant route. By no means do I plan to let this continue for more than another year. If I'm not happy with where I'm at a year from now I'll get an implant and be done with it. Implants have great success rates and from what I have read, the partner you're with would never know with a little strategy on your part. We will get past it my man.

Budluck- I'm not sure what you mean by chances of getting it fixed are minimal? What about getting the implant? If I find I have no options then I think I might become suciidal to be honest.

BeatPD- Thanks man I am trying to keep my routine normal I have been going to the gym almost as much as usual as before this happened. I've injured my dick before and it usually heals in a day or a few day but this time it's been 3-4 weeks. Also my ED is the worst it's ever been the past 3-4 days. I can't imagine dating with this going on though. For me I feel like if I can't have sex there is no point of going on the date. Also, I am curious to know if you are worried about atrophy over the course of your "recovery year"?

In this regard of losing length im not super worried about it. For one I am 8 inches, and not that I want to lose any length, but even if I did I think I'd still be slightly longer than average. That being said, I am doing VED daily and hand traction/heat to prevent loss of length. I'm also on 5mg of tadalfil daily, pentox and arginine to get more blood flow to the penis. I figure the more often you can get erecrions. Of course within reason. I've been doing one normal erection per day and one VED erection. I also have nocturnal erections. I fully believe if I weren't doing these things I would have lost length by now. I'm trying to retain the length I have until I am either naturally improved, or I go the route of ETG or implant. Imagine an implant that's rock hard with 8 inches of length...lol. I'd have some fun with that. Anyway, I'd do everything you can now to retain length.

I'm thinking of meeting with Dr. Christine who's a true pro at ETG, one of the best. I'll be very interested to hear what he says about going the ETG route versus implant route.

Interesting Peyronies Disease. Have you considered upping your cialis dose to 10mg daily? I believe that is the daily maximum that being said I and was taking 20mg a day for awhile and was getting great hardons.

What VED system do you use? I used one awhile back but I started getting diminishing returns and even seemed to weaken my erection a bit so I quit but may consider starting again.

I did actually think about that. You know, maybe doing 5mg a day, but if I am going on a date, take an extra 5mg tablet. I can only imagine I'd be harder, and maybe hard enough for sex to be ok. 110% though I'd never let the girl on top so I can't control it-that seems risky as hell. Shoot, if I could have sex in any position but the girl on top-I could live with that lol.

I bought one on Amazon called leluv. It's great and has a gauge in it. I bought an extra cylinder that's 2 inches. I planned to do the 3 cylinder protocol but I actually only use the 2 inch. The 1.75 feels like I can't even fully expand inside the tube at the base. Where the hourglass is, it's fine, but the base it too thick and I don't feel like it's good to compress the hell out of it. Additionally, I think VED use is ok if you're not pumping much. I only do once a day and I do feel it's important to also get an erection without the device. Not trying to have my dick become dependent on a VED. And to be honest, I think I get harder erections masturbating or with the help of a girl than I do with the VED. The one thing I'd say about the ved though....I do think it completely straightened my penis, which is something that never happened before. The VED holds it straight in an erect state and I feel like with time that trains the erection to be straight?

Ride on man I'll look into that VED system. Could you tell me more about the pressure you use? I stayed low on my first time trial with it but maybe not low enough and with the cialis I was maybe creating too much pressure that led to softer erections instead of the initial firm ones.

Also, on your dates why don't you max out the dose? I'd try 20mg of cialis and see how you respond or try 100mg of viagra which gives you even harder erections than cialis even though the half-life is shorter. Viagra for me used to last 6 hours or so.

i am the same however i am physically unable to masturbate or have any kind of sexual pleasure anymore. its either too painful, rhe shape of my penis destroys my interest in it or its just the total ED prevents me from getting hard enough for a required about of time. 3 years in and zhings are just worse than the second and first year.

I feel ya man.I thought the same way when I was in my 20's even got angry when a general urologist said it may be an option. Of course I didn't get one and my ED went away naturally until I reinjured 3 weeks ago.

But 3 years is a long time my brother. The advantage you have is that you are young. An IPP can last a decade or more. Even now they are moving to human trials to regrow patients corpra cavernosa in the lab. https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT03463239

I work in the medical field and I would be willing to bet tissue regrowth will be a thing in a decade or so. However, I wouldn't spend that decade (or so) in depression and broken. Just my 2 cents.

Hey Trapper. I just want to tell you that what you are feeling is completely normal and a tip to you and others on here is to embrace the feelings. Face them head on. Do not think that you are overreacting or doing something bad in being negative because those feelings are completely normal for any man dealing with tougher cases of Peyronies and ED.

Sex is the most intimate and enjoyable thing for many people in relationships and when that gets taken away from your life and on top of that treatment options are limited it's only natural for mental health to take a hit. It is a battle that will last until the day we somehow get cured wether that be by an implant or traditional treatment.

unfortunately i also work in this field and following general trends and clinical implementations in regenerative medicine, there is no chance on ewrth that we will have corpora cavernosa tissue regeneration in the next 10 years. i fail to see my "advantage" in being young. being youg if anything is a major disadvantage.

also i would never get an IPP.  as if having to pump up my micro dick in my mid 20 does not cause depression and being broken. there is no good solution snd there wont be for guys my age until maybe 2050 or some crap. the disadvantages and why people dont want ipps is well documented so i wont rehearse it
