Traction useful without curvature?

Hi everyone,

I was recently diagnosed with this disease in September and have started on OTCs (in signature) and Pentox recently. Pentox seems to be helping shrink one of the larger plaques, but I still have a dent on the underside of my shaft as well as mild/moderately painful erections. I do not notice any curve, just a few plaques, the one dent, and the pain.

Does anyone have experience with using traction devices without a curvature? I've read that the stretching helps stimulate healing, so I'm wondering if forum members have experienced improvements to plaque/dents/pain with just straight traction. Thanks in advance for any insight, I hope the best for all of us.

Welcome to the forum USA89! I thank you for filling out your signature line and I assume that you have read our survival guide -->https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,3180.msg44057.html#msg44057 . So yes traction can and does help a lot of us guys here. It is important to remember that peyronies is a marathon and not a sprint when it comes to treating it. There are two different traction devices that you should look into - the Restorex and PenimasterPro. I have used both and they really do help and each one has different tensions and the restorex helps a lot with curvatures.

Supplements can help and it can be difficult to tell which ones are working. I am of the mindset that we need to eat healthy and try to keep internal inflammation down. Read the forum and don't get discouraged and start worrying a lot about this. All of us here have been shocked and devastated about learning that this disease has affected us. With time and patience and some of the treatments here you will find some relief . You must remember that you do not want to add injury on top of the peyronies with rough sex or over zealous traction. Again welcome .
