Hello everyone,

I'm really glad I've found this forum. I'm 29 yo, I haven't been to the doctor yet, but I'm pretty sure this is what I have. I have been having some issues with low libido/erection for the past year, and I think I made a huge mistake by masturbating with a semi-erect penis a number of times about 3 months ago. I've felt some soreness approximately at the place where the dent has developed. It's not big, but I think I'm still in the active phase and I'm very afraid that it may get worse. I have significant pain when fully erect. Full erection is very rare and only happened once in the past 3 months. I have almost no, or extremely weak night time erections and can usually only achieve a partial erection (maybe 60-70%) by manual stimulation.

I think the loss of erection before the injury was caused by copper deficiency, which I'm now trying to address and I'm seeing some very mild results, but it's only been a week since I began supplementing. I have no issues with testosterone or other hormones. However, I had pretty good morning wood (almost daily), before the injury, so I think Peyronie's is probably playing the major part here, unfortunately...

I've started taking vitamin E, as it seems to be the easiest first aid and least likely to cause issues, but I don't know what to do next. I'm gonna visit the doctor, but I don't expect much from them.

For the time being, my biggest issue is ED and I'm wondering if it gets better once the active phase has passed?

Psychologically, I'm beyond devastated as I have other health issues like ME/CFS and POIS, which were already preventing me from having a life and now I can't believe I'm gonna have an additional problem that is so difficult to treat. If only I knew that this disease existed and masturbation could cause it...

Welcome to the forum. First and foremost, yes, masturbating with inadequate erections can and will cause worsening for us men who are prone to getting Peyronies so it's best you give it a rest for a prolonged period, tough as that may seem. Secondly try get hold of a decent urologist who can do a thorough exam to see what is going on and what's causing the ED.

For the ED what you need is a prescription of daily 5mg tadalafil or 25mg Sildenafil.

These help promote the firmest possible erections you can get to try prevent further injury.

Thank you. I don't really have problems not masturbating. I have very low libido, so it's not an issue. At least for now. I just want to prevent as much damage as possible (if possible). I'm just wondering what are the best things to do early on, to prevent further deterioration. I see that pentoxifylline might be a good option? Sorry, if these things have already been answered 100 times I just have a hard time concentrating plus peyronie's anxiety now makes it impossible to make sense of all the information.

Thank you guys. I managed to fix Erectile Dysfunction by fixing nutritional  deficiences, which is great news, but unfortunately the indent is still there and the docotr told me to come back after 2 months. He said the body may take care of it. Gave me a script for cialis as well, but I'm a little worried about the side effects on the ears, as I already have tinnitus and very mild hearing loss. Penis vs hearing... I also have chronically stuffed nose, which is a big problem for me and it's also a side effect of cialis and I haven't even started taking it.
