Hello,

I am new here and Ive been honestly lurking and gathering information off this forum for years. Then I slowly adjusted to my slightly altered penis shape, as it didn't interfere with sex. My perceived "injury", although I cannot remember happened about 12 years ago.. probably a slight over addiction to online porn and some minor trauma during sex -nothing major. I woke up one day and my penis made a slight "s" shape at the end which would straighten when fully erect. Since that day, night time erections are still there but short lived because they fade as soon as I wake. Been to 3 urologists in CA including Goldstein in SD who determined based on Doppler that I have some scarring. This was done in 2020 by the way. I never had progression over the past 12 years or so. All other uros said Im perfectly healthy and my organ is normal - we know how that goes. Fast forward to a few days ago, I saw a urologist head surgeon who specializes in peyronies as well. I went in because after multiple masturbations throughout one of my off days -I never go rough or crazy, been careful since, I had 1 shooting pain at the left side below glans were my hourglass is more prominent. I know worst thing according to some members is agitating and erection checking because this could be just scar trying to stretch or further hematoma, did get some dull ache on occasion doing this -stupid. I couldn't help it and I kept checking although I promised myself not to touch my penis for 2 weeks at least! SO the euro did another doppler with a fully induced erection and he was adamant about doing his own vs what Goldstein did 2 years ago and he goes -Bro! you have ZERO sign of damage anywhere including the spots I pointed out. I forwarded him my bloodwork and he said some things are off since Ive been on trt for 10 years and he can help me dial that in. He refuses to "sell" me anything but says the "we want you to be functional and just drive the car" so making an assessment in semi plus flaccid state is irrelevant since he confirmed after a 20 minute personal doppler he could find a damn thing. Im terrified since this just flared up again and my set indent seems more STRETCHED out than before so idk if its a good or a bad thing. But sometimes only after erections Ill get a slight tingling feeling that lasts for like 5-10 mins or so. So now Im giving it full rest but please advise mens I feel very alone, NeoV's videos helped a ton and I wish I found them earlier and abstained from porn. Any insight greatly appreciated!

Are your erections heavily impaired by the dent? Impaired as in are they softer, do they cause instabilty or bending/buckling upon penetration? Indentations are incredibly cumbersome and difficult to treat.

Some guys on here have indents but their erections still work perfectly and so they do not have any issues besides the cosmetic aspect of it. Others like me have their erections impaired due to the hourglass/dent and it is not an easy thing to treat.

Hey Sonic,

No they are not. Ive had it reach almost 80% hardness if Im with someone in my pants but require some physical manipulation to get 100% hard. Now after the multiple albeit, extended masturbation session, the sharp pain seems to have progressed it a bit. Nothing feels different besides some tingling discomfort and more manipulation needed to get it fully hard. Trying to stay away from this but the psychological aspect is a whole other thing.. I can't get 100% NTE's because regular blood flow impairs this.. I have to adjust in different ways to fully get hard. Other than that, works for sex. Doc said, you have a perfectly straight erection.. so I quizzed him about this progressing since NTE I know are crucial for penile health. Like I imagine it being the opposite of priapism. He swears I have no organic issues, but I see my penis daily so now it's just longer flaccid as well where it doesn't seem to telescope all the way up like it used to after erection. I just don't understand how carefully masturbating exacerbated the whole thing.. no new trauma. Doc also said he sees tons of peyronies guys, does surgeries, implants. This could be some minor scarring intracavernosal that should improve with time and good erections. Beats me. Im just worried about my future sexual health and don't want to go implant route if it worsens

This tingling discomfort doesn't neccesarily mean you have worsened your situation. It could simply be something that will go away quick with some rest. Best thing you can do now is to give it a complete rest for 1 week and do not perform erection checks. Leave it be and rest. Pain would be an indicator somethings not right but slight discomfort probably is not a cause for worry.

Welcome!

Great support and plenty of personal experiences to read up on!

Sounds like me in the sense that I've had hourglassing since 2008 and in January of this year it started to be an issue with plaque and discomfort.  I don't know how to explain it.  Make sure you use lube when masturbating, reapply if needed.

Be well guys.

Yeah I hear you FrankPD. This is so strange though zero anything on my doppler.. the guy sat there and searched it up and down on the doppler for awhile. But this disease is never a clear cut progression from what Ive seen all over this forum. Seems like I should be happy of the good news at least from the doppler.

Don't overthink this. I don't perceive any of you issues that are peyronies related. It seems you are worried about what might happen in the future. I can tell you that your penis and sex drive changes as you age. I was in my mid 40's when my erections were getting weaker and not quite 100%. But I refused to think I had ED. I thought ED was when you couldn't get any erection at all. I wish I had recognized then that I should have started low dosages of Cialis or something similar to keep my erections firm. It may have prevented the actual injury I received in my mid 50's.

Thanks LWillsjr, this gives me hope. Ive scrounged the web and doctors, seems nothing besides scarring causes permanent form changes. Although I get your point, if it works, don't obsess about it. I have no idea what could've cause a flare up again since its been so long and zero re injury per se. I just want to make sure it doesn't progress and I take the right precautionary steps. We all age, performance is expected to decline of course. Tissue changes worry me of course a whole lot more. I appreciate all of your replies, makes me feel -not so alone, since Ive never known anyone with penile pain of this sort. My NTE's have suffered since 2010 so of course I know how important that is to penile health as well. I know giving your penis a rest can certainly help in this department too.

I've never even considered really that I'm 46 and ED would settle in.  I also thought that ED meant you can't get an erection at all.  My NTE and morning wood aren't what they used to be, in September my PCP told me "well, you're getting older" but I just assumed it was Peyronies.  My friends and I are all really close, no one ever mentions it.  I mean who would but still we're all men, we're gonna face it sooner or later.

Dent4ever, there's a very good group here.  Couldn't imagine having this disease without this forum, it's a safe place to talk about anything.

Be well.
