Hello fellow sufferers,

I have been a silent reader for quite some time.

My story:

I am 31, non-smoker and very active in sports. I have always had a slight upward curvature. Already in my early 20s I had a slight hinge effect, which did not bother me.
However, the left corpus Cavernosum became weaker and weaker over the years. In my 20s, the curvature became worse and the penis also twisted a bit to the left. Now I finally went to a urologist who did an ultrasound and found a dorsal plaque. Since I had the hinge Effect early on I don't know if this was due to asymmetry and the penis not being able to withstand the axial forces, or that I have a venous leak on the left and got microtrauma from it due to no 100 percent EQ during sex.

Symptoms:
At the base where the penis exits the body is my main problem. There is an indentation on the bottom on the left side where there is also a severe hinge. Shortly after this point, the member bends upward (about 30 degrees).  From the middle, the penis twists to the left like a screw. The left erectile tissue is thinner and in my opinion also a bit shorter than the right one.

After erection, when erection is only at about 10-20% the penis is bent downwards.

minimal pain when flaccid.

The weak point of the erection is the left corpus cavernosum. EQ is still at 70% - 95% but feels weird, because at the point where the indentation is, it feels like the erection wants to disappear.

Penis falls over very easily to the left, and sometimes I have penile buckling during sex.

Furthermore, my erections are also much worse when I stand upright.

I am looking forward to an exchange with you guys :).

Hello and welcome!

Everyone here will probably agree shockwave therapy will make it worse and/or cause other problems.

Search shockwave in the search tab and read about personal experiences.

Good luck to you.

Do not do Shockwave 'therapy', it can make your penis worse!!!!. I did PRP and got worse, then I did Shockwave and got worse again!!!, I think those 'therapies' shouldn't be listed on the forum as 'treatments', they are not safe
My first symptoms started early in 2019
I tried Traction device, Pentofixiline, Q10, TRT, L-Argenine, cialis
I have narrowing/dent/hinge on the left side of my shaft
My ED is getting worse
Had a PRP shot Aug 2021
I have a girlfriend
Age 46

Hey Doodle! Welcome aboard.

I don't think, like others said that shockwave will do you any good. I don't recall members here saying they had any benefits from it. More like a waste of money.

Are you on Ed meds? Cialis? L arginine?

I don't have a real ED, but due to the hinge effect I have a weak point in the penis, which worsens the erection quality. This is simply an unpleasant feeling. Sex does work though.

I have already read in the forum that the IPP does not get better with ESWT. But at least the erection quality got better for some people. What surprises me is that the studies on ESWT are quite positive.

Thank you for your advice
