Steroid shots at acute stage? Works in Dupuytrens contracture

There are a couple reasonable looking studies on this.  An old one and this more recently.

What do folks on the board think? I had really good success with repeat steroid injections for my Duouytrens. It entirely arrested early stage progression and reduces the nodules. I don't think it would work on a curve. I am wondering if it could stop the curve.

46 years old. Developed pain in penis Sept 2022. Slight curve (I think!). Diagnosed 2 weeks later with a palpable small plaque. Flaccid ultrasound was clear. On 5mg Cialis daily. Arginine. Debating Pentox, traction and coq10. Family history.
