Who here has had real success using a medical VED?

By real success I mean your symptoms, curve, narrowing dents and all actually improving significantly following the forums protocols? Recently I've been thinking about investing in a SomaCorrect pump to try and improve my condition but I've been scroling through almost every single thread on this VED section in order to make a final decision and it's really hard when all you see are mixed opinions.

Only 2 guys from what I could see claimed very good results, one was the veteran Old Man and another guy Monty. Many others claim to have seen minimal or average results and many claimed to have damaged themselves and become worse due to over pumping. The device is quite expensive and it is not an easy decision to take.

Had it been overwhelmingly positive feedback I would have invested in one long ago.

If it would not be too much to ask I would hope people on here with experience from VED could chime in and give their honest opinion on how it went for you when you used it.

Narrowing on right side and about a 20° curve to the right.
ED + instability due to narrowing.

i have used ved on and off for about 1.5 years.
my hopinion is mixed indeed. i think it improved my condition initially, but then i think i injured myself (without really feeling pain or anything, kinda unexpectetly).
In the end, as other people on the forum, i think it is beneficial, but it must be used with a lot of care and with the uttermost attention.
It can help stretch the tissue and make blood flow more easily.
It should not be used for extended amount of time or excessive pressure. Whatever that means, i unfortunately don't know exactly.
20 yo, Peyronies Disease 2020(55 degrees down) + congenital curve
loss of length, stable erection, sensation. hourglassing

Recently started VED 2x a week
Still wants sex and a relationship

What VED did you use? To me it sounds like you was being careful but still somehow injured yourself. The part about good blood flow is a reason I am thinking about trying one as I truly believe good blood flow could be of great help on the road to recovery. The part where a crap load of people say they injured themselves is what's holding be back though...

Have a read of these if you haven't already:

Can always get a sex shop VED with a gauge if you're worried about overpumping (bout $50).

I use the 3-cyclinder SomaCorrect VED, and follow Old Man's protocol.

It's good. Is it a miracle tool? No. But my erections are solid, and it seems to have stopped my condition's progression.

It's still relatively early days for me though.

One thing I'd 100% recommend is applying a small amount of coconut oil to your dick after showering. I've found they keep the skin stretchable and soft, which is useful for vacuum pumping. It's also a natural antibacterial.
29 years old.

Multiple nodules, and hourglassing on bottom half of shaft.

Diagnosed with Peyronies in March 2021.

Currently using SOMACorrect (3-cyclinder) VED and following the VED Protocol.

The 3 cylinder protocol makes a lot of sense. The first a cylinder is creates tightness and forces the penis in a straight position. You are also not pumping to fully erect either. I am going to use it for the foreseeable future very gently and therapeutically. Don't use the tension bands there is no point if you are following the protocol.
Diagnosed after two uro visits march 2023. physical exam no ultrasound
Noticed upward bend october 22.
currently on 5mg cialis and using hot rice sock. trying to find right traction device

Are you using the SomaCorrect/Somaerect device? If so I hope you do a thread where you update your progress.

Good luck!

Hi

I first started using the SOMACorrect in March 2020. I was using it alongside PMP initially, but then dropped the PMP, to do VED only as time in traction was becoming increasingly difficult.

I followed the forum protocol exactly for 12 months, and I have to admit, there was a very slight improvement, going from approximately 40 degrees upward bend, to approximately 35/37 degrees.

Girth had increased slightly, and length had recovered a little.

If I am honest, I feel that the forum protocol is a very good (esssential) starting point, and definitely avoids injury, but, I also feel it has its limitations.

After a 9 month break (basically I got depressed that no further improvements were being gained)

I re started at the beginning of January 2022 , but this time I followed more, the manufacturers instructions, and for me this worked better.

The angle improved to about 32/35 degrees, and both girth and length recovery were improving as well.

By September 2022, I also started using DMSO + Iodine, which I believe made my penis more pliable.

This has also definitely helped, as by Feb 2023,  the angle has improved to around 30 degrees, girth again better, and the same with length.

I think it also helps taking measurements every 3 months, not monthly, its good for moral !

Hope this helps
