I was told by a pretty top-notch Peyronies Disease urologist that this is what it will feel like but I want to hear from those that have them.

When fully inflated does it feel like your old rock hard erection or is it like having hard CCs with loose tissue / soft glans around it?

If the latter i am very disappointed to hear this as I thought the implant had the capability of returning us to the days of old.

So, guys that have had the implant how does it feel for you? The former or the latter?

I can only speak for myself. My inflated penis feels like it did when I was in my twenties, meaning rock hard. I never had a softer penis until I got older into my 40's.
And then the older I got the softer and squishier it became.
Pre 40's, my penis would get so hard, I had to put cream on it to prevent the skin from cracking. I Always thought when they circumcised me, they cut too much off, lol
I will be interested in what others say.

Without asking, I can tell you that the doctor who told you that does NOT do ANY implant surgery.  He is either ignorant or has a professional bias to keep advising you on Erectile Dysfunction and thus keep you as a patient.  You can probably figure out which one.

I have stated many times that if I could be positive that a doctor could restore my penis exactly like it was at 25 years old - implant-free and natural erections on demand that never failed - all I had to do was to endure the surgery and pay $1000.  I doubt if I would do it.  That is how good my implant is.  It feels no different to me by touch or the feel of walking around with an "erection".  It feels no different to my wife.  It is the penis of my prime with the following differences.

1. It is now much bigger flaccid because I was a grower, so that is a plus.

2. Because I had TOTAL Erectile Dysfunction, my glans is less engorged, although not soft and floppy and not obviously underinflated.  If you get some natural erection, that is a total non-issue.  Even with total Erectile Dysfunction, you can engorge your glans to the max with a VED or Erectile Dysfunction meds if you wanted to , BUT you will be the only one who notices the difference.

3. The pump in the right side of my scrotum is palpable if my partner or I probe.

Mooch,
My glans got full prior to implant and it has continued after implant.
The implant will not cause your glans to plump up, if they did not prior to implant.
But you made me think, the tips are somewhat crayon shaped that fit into the edge of glans or at least that's what I remember. I wonder if Colorplast ever thought about making them enlarge like a mushroom.
My first girlfriend said I had a hammerhead penis.
My second girlfriend said I had a big mushroom head penis, lol.
I know it's all genetics as to what kind of penis we get. I remember seeing my dads penis one time when we changed into our swim suits at a beach. I remember seeing his big penis and he was uncut. I asked him why my penis looked so different. I was in 4th grade and hadn't reached puberty. He told me I was circumcised as a child by the hospital. He said back then, they didn't ask, thru just did it. I asked him why his was not circumcised and he said, he was born at home in 1916.
I suffered when I reached puberty, because I believe they cut too much skin and when I got hard, my penis would hurt. The skin was so tight, I had to constantly put cream on it and when I masturbated, I always used lotion. Of course as time went on, it stretched, but it lasted a few years.

I can get pretty close to fully engorged and sometimes on occasion it looks and feels like the old days, so you and Hawk are telling me this should continue of I were to implant now?

No one can offer a guarantee, but yes that seems correct. If you become engorged now, this should not change.

I think my situation is like Hawk's.
Size and hardness are very natural, but glans is the same size it has always been, but it is softer.
It doesn't flop and it causes us no problem.

In a word, YES!

Of course, a surgeon who was careless or without the experience of a high-volume implant surgeon could short you and give you an implant that was too small.  We have about three incidents that have been reported on the forum.  At least two of them had revision surgery.  One, like you, got natural erections, which continued after his "short implant," so he did not rush to get a revision.

This is how it works with a properly installed implant.  The implant fills the two largest of your three chambers (cavernosa) with fluid.  These two chambers are filled (inflated) by the pump rather than blood from a natural erection.  The inflation/erection of these chambers is indistinguishable from your prime, both to you and any partner.  The third chamber is the spongiosum.  It is smaller and runs around the urethra up the center of the underside of the penis and ends as the glans.  It makes up the entire head of the penis.  This is left intact and unchanged by implant surgery.

Since the spongiosum is left unchanged, that means if it naturally fills with blood before surgery, that chamber, including the head, will continue to fill with blood to varying degrees throughout the day, just like before surgery.  However, if you have significant Erectile Dysfunction, then that chamber will NOT fill after surgery unless your Erectile Dysfunction was caused in part by psychological issues such as worry that you could not perform.  A proper implant would completely resolve such psychological performance worries.

Since the spongiosum is small and primarily protects the urethra's ability to stay open during erections, it adds little to an erection.  However, it does give some girth to the belly of the penis and causes the glans to plump out more.

Ballasto, all you have to do is read the journals highlighted in the index at the top of this board.  You will see the satisfaction rate of men with implants.  Many include photos.

Finding a high-volume surgeon (over 100 implants a year) is critical.  You need someone who specializes in implants, not someone who sees male and female patients for other issues.

Thank you Hawk.

One more question , how does the implant feel with exercise? When I run or play basketball can I feel it moving around? Is the pump basically like having a third ball?

I imagine after awhile it just becomes a part of you and you notice it less. Am I right?

After you are totally healed you do not think of it. There is no sense of a difference with daily activity.  I ride bikes, horses, run, workout. stretch.   If you go see Dr. Eid and there is a patient with an implant in the office he will likely ask him if chat with him.  I talked to two patients and watched the first inflation with one of them.  Both were glad to help.

Read the journals if you really want an education.
