Questions after my first urologist appointment

So I just returned from my appointment with a urologist. I explained my situation about my injury that happened two months ago, that my penis accidentally bent a bit too far to the left during sexual activities, and that I now feel pain when erect and also a bit when flaccid. The pain feels like an ache when flaccid and more like a sting when erect. The urologist initially diagnosed the lump inside my penis as Mondors disease but then I asked him to make an ultrasound and he saw two tiny calcifications inside my penis. One in the middle and more at the top of my shaft near my glans, and one on the left side at the same height.

He didn't diagnose me with peyronies still because according to him these calcifications were too deep and small to be peyronies plaque. And I don't have the characteristic bend to the left so it couldn't be it. He did give me a bunch of diclofenac pills and 4 pills of cialis since I asked for those.

Hearing I have calcifications inside my penis at the place my pain is coming from really worries me. The urologist also was kind of guessing and didn't seem to know a lot about peyronies when I asked him questions about it like if the calcifications could grow bigger etc.

So could this still be early stage of peyronies? And can these calcifications get bigger? Do you have any experience with patients who have smaller calcifications that cause pain and what do you do for it and does the pain eventually go away?

Is there anything I can do now like traction or other medication?

And I really want to know if the pain will go away...

Thanks for your reply in advance!

Bruva,
Calcifications causing Peyronies usually form on the surface of the Tunica Albuginea and not deep inside tissues. Your doctor's diagnosis could be correct. Do you have any newly developed curvature when erect?

There is no quick answer and everyone's symptoms and response is different.

I had some pain, upon erection (though I chalked it up to the "hurts-so-good" kind, initially), as my peyronie's disease-related calcification, plaque, or whatever we call it - a hard little football shape, in there - "matured."

Upon my first uro app't., doc said it's gotta stablize.

I hurt it, more, before it did, so the hardness became greater, the mild pain continuing. Eventually, there was no more pain, as the problem did stabilize.

My penis gained a 90% bend. My wife and I could not engage in vaginal intercourse, for about 2 years; even after the plaque stabilized, I was waiting out COVID.

I'm 10 days post-op, now.

So far, so good. I'm healing up, pretty quick, and there's been little pain, only some pressure upon gaining an erection.

Hello LWillisjr,

I have a bend to the left around midway/near glans whenever I get semi erect or whenever there is a slight blood flow towards my penis. I notice my glans also stands a bit to the left as if there is more blood on the right side of my penis. I also feel a hard lump in the middle of my penis that is palpable on the bottom and top of the shaft if I feel with my thumb (on top) and index finger(on bottom. This lump is on the left side of my urethra like a hard cord. This lump isn't on the right side of the urethra. And then there are what feels like two tiny bumps at the left side of the penis and I can feel it if I press a bit harder. But yeah it causes pain but I am on painkillers (NSAIDs) so the pain isn't that bad now, but I fear it'll get worse again. Do you know is calcifications can go away/pain because of it can go away?? It also causes me to have ED I think.

Thank you.
