Pentoxifylline permanently help?
« on: September 18, 2022, 11:05:35 AM »

Hi, I have been prescribed pentoxifylline 400mg to take 3 times daily. It seems to be helping me. However, I don't like the side effects (drowsiness upset stomach etc.)

If I stop taking the pentoxifylline will the scar tissue return to "pre pentoxifylline" state or will it stay in the same state it is when I stop? I guess my question is does pentoxifylline permanently break up the scar tissue or only while on treatment?

I have not heard of one person that had improvements in curve or length or indentation or plaque with any oral treatment. Maybe increased blood flow, but nothing else. And maybe increased blood flow protects you from further damage through trauma but that’s it. Don’t put to much hope in any treatment. If anything would really help, this forum would not exist….

Hey there. Unfortunately, the latest evidence points out to pentox not being effective at all. It doesn't harm you, but there is no evidence it actually helps with Peyronies. Other than improving erections due to more blood flow. But you can take it.

It did nothing for me, when i took it

I understand everyones comments on ineffective pentox, but the increased blood flow would be welcome. Does anyone know where I can purchase online? Please DM if not openly discussed.
