The use of RestoreX may have caused a new plaque (?)

Hi all,

I want to report on my personal experience after -almost a year- use of RestoreX + Xiaflex injections, highlighting the RestoreX use.

As recommended by my doctor, I used RestoreX in between Xiaflex injection cycles. The protocol is as follows:
A. 1st injection (no use of RestoreX here, only manual manipulation) - then after 3 days the 2nd injection occurs (no RestoreX yet, only manual manipulation) - then wait about a week after 2nd injection and start RestoreX manipulation daily (+ manual manipulation). Start mild and progress to stronger manipulations (initially only straightening manipulation the also counter-bending with RestoreX).

B. 6 weeks after the first injection, a new cycle starts again, which means that one starts from point A. above.

At the end of the 4th cycle I developed a new plaque. The doctor believes it may have been caused by the counter-bending use of RestoreX, because the location of the plaque is where the counter-bending happens. He instructed me to stop using it and only do manual manipulation.

From my personal experience I also started believing it that the counter bending of RestoreX may be too stressful for certain cases/individuals and it may cause further damage which could be the input to develop new plaques.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Has anyone decided to stop using RestoreX? If so, why?

Bud luck

I only used Restorex four times, and it made it worse, way too much pulling
My first symptoms started early in 2019
I tried Traction device, Pentofixiline, Q10, TRT, L-Argenine, cialis
I have narrowing/dent/hinge on the left side of my shaft
My ED is getting worse
Had a PRP shot Aug 2021
I have a girlfriend

It is true that the Retsorex has a greater force. I would ask if you have then tried the PMP? It has a lower generated force. You can't say that all traction is bad if you haven't tried another version.

I have multiple dents, in my case, counter-bending with restorex would aggravate a dent on the other side of the penis and result in more pain. Straight traction may be a better option, or PMP as the other user suggested.

Yes, I agree it might be that RestoreX applies too much traction and that the counter-bending might cause new injuries. However, in my personal case, I believe the worst thing is the squeezing that RestoreX applies on the glans, in order to hold you penis and stretch it. I found it annoying and painful at times and I believe that created new injuries.

Have you tried the makeup pads to help with the gripping action? You don't have to clamp as hard with them.

Try makeup pads. I also found that a lot of success with getting a god restorex session can be dependent on how you clamp the glans.

When I have the glans in a decent position, clamped just on the ridge, and there not much slippage throughout the session - I get a really good painless stretch.

I also noticed that slippage can result in the shaft being pulled in awkward positions which can result in more pain/aggravation.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your replies and suggestions. I will use the makeup pads, have never tried them so far.
However, I believe that in my case the problem is the squeezing force applied on the gland in order to keep the penis in the device while stretching. That squeezing is too much and it finishes to injure the penis even more. Hopefully with the pads one doesn't need to squeeze that much. I will try and report about it. Thanks!
