Does anyone have experience with changing their eating habits like it is recommended in rheumatic disorders for Peyronies?

I wonder if it could stop inflammation and maybe even increase blood flow in the penis again, because I heard that all inflammation process in the body are quite the same.

Anyone tried before and has seen results or not?

Please share

I eating mostly clean and in the past two weeks i ate even more clean since i had to move home. My inflamation was very bad under week 1 one and became less intensive with week 2, however its hard to say if it did help because i also used voltaren gel, sometimes 3 times a day.

If i want to listen to my gut feeling it did not do too much for me, ofcourse if you have problems with your blood pressure levels and stuff then i think its a must but if you overall following a healthire lifestyle and already kept in check the food that maybe more inflamantory then you did anything you could.

So my gut says, its more like the voltaren, cutting back masturbation and erections(except NTE) and ESPECIALLY go without porn, in the first months of the disease i found out that if i start watching then the inflamantory pains become more severe for days or even weeks.

Also if one's got familiar with melting's legacy then i assume that eating clean is helps reduce inflamantory triggers all over your body but not in your penis because as he mentioned multiply times there is not enough blood flow during the day. He also said sometimes the scare tissue may just cover the affected area in your penis and literally making a trap for your inflammation, this explains why some people have pain after weeks or months.
The only thing that could help is apply transdremal localy that contains diclofenac like voltaren. Atleast for me it did help a lot.

I have been on a relatively low inflammation diet for a couple years and I am sure it was better than most people's diets, but I recently made some additional changes, following some strict guidelines that have really helped over the last month or so and I plan to keep going.

I wrote about it a few days ago in the improvements section and I've had Peyronies for 10 years now, so practically seen and tried it all. Time will tell how it goes from here, but the same protocol has been used to reverse a number of autoimmune conditions and not specific to Peyronies. Obviously the real test here will be if it can turn all the scarring into healthy tissue, but after 10 years I am prepared to give it time. Early results have been very encouraging.

Thanks for sharing. I will try it and continue eating anti inflammatory foods.... So far it has been good for the penile blood flow and I have been losing some belly fat. It also seems to give me hope.

Anyone else seeing results?

Hi,

I have added anti-inflammatory food/supplements to my combination of treatments, you can read more about it here: https://www.peyroniesforum.net/index.php/topic,14856.0.html

All in all, I cannot deduce whether it has had an impact but I would advice people to give it a go if they feel like it. It will not hurt you but it is difficult to say whether it makes a difference, especially on its own and without traction and VED etc.
Early 30s, diagnosed with Peyronies in 2017 after trauma during sex. ca 15 degrees upward curvature. Restorex, VED, 5mg Cialis, Pentox, L-arginine, Coq10, Propolis, Vitamin E. Underwent 12 rounds of Verapamil injections 2021-22

The point I have reached now is finally understanding that when you are physically fit and well you can probably allow yourself the ocassional treat and your body will manage it, however the lingering effects of processed foods, meat and dairy are longer lasting than we realise. Decades of abuse will almost innevitably lead to chronic conditions.

I build websites professionally and a doctor client recently told me it was shocking how unhealthy the average 40 year old is these days with most on half a dozen prescription medicines, which cannot logically be considered normal or acceptable. A few weeks ago I was in the supermarket and when I looked around I saw that practically everybody was overweight and probably 50% are obese. Look at their shopping trolleys and you have all the evidence you need.

To heal from a condition like Peyronies really needs a total committment switching off that inflammation on all fronts and empowering good health. A small lightbulb moment for me came a few weeks ago when I read that the body just doesn't understand how to deal with supplements and preservatives etc, because it simply doesn't recognise them and that made perfect sense.

Colin Campbell (author of the China Study) also wrote a book called Whole that details these vastly complex processes as the body makes endless adjustments trying to manage good and bad. The whole medical arena has spent the last 50+ years focussed on a reductionist theory, insisting that adding a particular drug or supplement will have an exact predetermined outcome without negative side effects, regardless what else is going on in the body. When you think about it this logically it is naive to think that the body will obey a single supplement or drug and ignore everything else.

Just a follow up thought on this discussion. Over the last month I have been eating plenty, but actually had less time for exercise, yet I have still lost 3 kilos that had been stubbornly resistant for the last couple years.

I figure that has largely been achieved by eliminating all processed foods and following the protocol. When the body has to manage artificial substances or sugar etc it skews the body chemistry and diverts valuable energy that could be used more effectively with healing elsewhere.

Another point is that diet and all that is great, as is stress reduction and positive thinking, but we also need to stop generating further damage to the affected area. Recently I was so excited to see the return of fairly decent erections that I did some masturbation every day, just for the buzz of seeing my old buddy again. Objectively I know that masturbation and watching porn will only risk further damage and delay or block further healing, so I've made a mental note to just resist temptation now.

So I'm back to trying to do something about this damn disease..I haven't tried much. Just kinda gave up..

I've been watching a lot of Dr. David Sinclair.. He's anti aging guy at Harvard..

Just listening for fun really..

But his lifestyle is he does 22 and 2.  22 hours no eating and 2 hours (1) big meal..

A lot of his research is focused at cellular level of aging and how they've proven that fasting and especially for 2-3 days significantly puts body in Autophagy mode...basically cleaning up of dead cells and deep protein..

In one of his videos he explained Collagen and fibrosis is nearly impossible get rid off accept for fasting...which according to years of research can be eliminated by fasting.

Well...Collagen is what makes up Peyronies Disease plaque.

So I figured why not start to try some fasting..can't hurt.  He also doesn't eat animal protein anymore. No sugars etc..

Basically fasting and very low or no sugars puts body epigenome in this state of getting rid of all bad crap accumulates in our bodies.

Just wanted to add.
