Hi all,

I'm probably gonna need implant surgery for chronic Peyronie's. I lost significant length due to this condition (went from 16.5cm to barely 13cm) and it's causing significant distress. Any chance I could get some of the length back after surgery?

First symptoms Jan 2021: pain and slight curve to the left below glans. Since then, fibrosis took over half the shaft. Lost 3.5cm in length and some girth
Tried iontophoresis, pentox + supplements (VED + traction irregularly)
Considering implant

Done. Thanks a lot in advance for your input!

(EDIT: Just realized this is the ED section of the forum. It might be more appropriate to move this subject tot the Peyronie's surgery section?)

Thanks for filling in your signature line.  It saves us from repeatedly asking the same questions.  You do not mention any ED in your signature line, so I assume you have robust functional erections.  I would be VERY hesitant to recommend an implant for someone with the combination of your relatively young age with fully functioning erections.  I consider excision/graft first.  If you have an expert high-volume surgeon, it gives you the chance of one and done.

An implant at 37 is almost a guarantee of 4 revisions if you have an active sex life and live to natural life expectancy.

Thanks for your input. I don't really suffer from ED, but I do suffer from penile instability which makes intercourse very complicated as I constantly have to be extremely careful that it does not bend. So basically forget about losing yourself in the pleasure, sex has become an act of control and precision. Not fun.

Also, I keep on losing length... When will it stop? 12 cm? 10? 8? It's really anxiety-inducing.
