Hello,

I am considering posting my before/ after surgery pictures to help others. However, I know that messages cannot be deleted. If at some point in the future I feel uncomfortable with having my pictures on the forum, for example, if I feel my identity has been compromised, can I ask an admin to remove my posts?

Best,

Ruff

Congrats.   Honestly.  I don't think you need to post pics.   A compelling story is good enough.   I'm sure those who desire can google and find pics.  I find it totally unnecessary.

I think pictures of real world results could greatly soothen the mind of someone considering surgery.

What you could do is uploading the image to some place where you have control over it.
Then just copy the link to the file here like this: [.img]URL[./img] without the dots.

Result looks like this:

If you don't want it anymore, delete the original upload, the link will be dead and the image gone.
